ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (ICAR-NBPGR), New Delhi has invited applications for 1 Young Professional-I post under the All India Coordinated Research Network (AICRN) on Potential Crops project. This is a contractual, project-based position and does not involve any written test — eligible candidates simply walk in for an interview with their documents. ICAR-NBPGR is India's nodal institute for managing plant genetic resources, functioning under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Graduate in Computer, Administration or Management (or a related discipline) with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized University/College
• Preferred: Prior exposure to Plant Genetic Resources management, IT applications, virtual meeting platforms, or general computer skills
• Desirable Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work experience in Plant Genetic Resources management, or practical knowledge of IT applications and virtual meeting tools, is an added advantage (though not mandatory for the essential qualification)

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 45 years old.
• Age Relaxation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC, women, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India/ICAR rules.

Salary

• Selected candidates get a consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000 per month.
• No separate DA/HRA is mentioned for this contractual position.
