Who Can Apply?

For Farm Manager / T4 and Programme Assistant (Lab Technician) / T4 (Level-6, Rs. 35,400/month):

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or any other branch of science/social science relevant to Agriculture from a recognized University

For Programme Assistant (Computer) / T4 (Level-6, Rs. 35,400/month):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Application or equivalent qualification from a recognized university

For Assistant (Level-6, Rs. 35,400/month):

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized University

For Stenographer Grade-III (Level-4, Rs. 25,500/month):

• 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University
• You will be given a dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 words per minute for 10 minutes, then a transcription test on computer (50 minutes for English, 65 minutes for Hindi)

For Driver / T1 (Level-3, Rs. 21,700/month):

• Matriculation pass from a recognized board
• A valid driving license, and you must clear a practical driving skill test
• Desirable: One-year ITI trade certificate, driving experience at a recognized institute, or motor mechanic experience

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old.
• Age Relaxation: As per U.P. Government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates. Regular employees of the State of UP get an additional 5-year relaxation.

Salary

• Farm Manager, Programme Assistant (Computer), Programme Assistant (Lab Technician), Assistant: Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month (Matrix Level-6)
• Stenographer Grade-III: Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 per month (Matrix Level-4)
• Driver / T1: Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month (Matrix Level-3)
• These posts are ICAR-funded, and the pay scale and service benefits follow ICAR guidelines.

Application Fee

• General / EWS / OBC / UR: Rs. 1,000
• SC / ST / PwD: Rs. 500

Selection Process

Selection is based on your academic score and a written examination, with a skill test wherever applicable:

1. Academic Score: Calculated from your High School, Intermediate and Bachelor's degree marks, plus bonus marks for Sports/NCC/NSS.
2. Written Examination: Covers Subject Matter, General Knowledge & Reasoning, and Language. Each question carries 2 marks, with 0.50 negative marking for a wrong answer.
3. Skill Test: A dictation and typing test (qualifying only) for Stenographer Grade-III, and a driving skill test for Driver.
4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (10 times the vacancies for one post, plus 5 times for each additional post) are called for document verification.

Final selection is on the grand total of academic score plus written exam marks — up to 300 marks for most posts.
