ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (ICAR-NBPGR), Regional Station Thrissur, has announced a walk-in interview for 1 Scientific Administrative Assistant/Field Worker post under a DBT-funded project on mainstreaming of sesame germplasm. There is no written exam — you simply attend the interview with your documents. This is a project-linked contractual position, valid until the project ends on 28 February 2027.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university
• Preferred Background: Agriculture, Botany, Life Sciences or Biotechnology graduates are given preference
• Preferred Experience: 2 or more years of experience in field experiments, crossing work, and germplasm data recording
• Preferred Skills: Basic computer knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Age Limit

• You should be 50 years or younger as on the interview date, 30 July 2026.

Salary

• You will get Rs. 18,000 per month as basic pay plus 18% HRA, taking your gross salary to around Rs. 21,240 per month.
• This is a project-linked salary as per ICAR and DBT norms, payable until the project closes on 28 February 2027.
