HPRCA is recruiting 808 teacher posts under Advertisement No. 08/2026 in Himachal Pradesh. The official public notice dated 08 May 2026 extends the ORA last date for the named Music, Sanskrit, History, Hindi and Geography teacher post codes to 15 May 2026, 11:59 PM. Go to hprca.hp.gov.in, register on the OTR portal, log in, and fill in the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) form for your subject. Upload your photo and signature, pay the fee of Rs. 800 online, and submit before 8 May 2026. No offline forms are accepted. Apply separately for each subject post code you want to apply for.

Selection is through a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 120 MCQ questions for 120 marks in 90 minutes, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. Minimum qualifying marks are 45% for General and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/WFF candidates. Scores are normalised using the Z-Score method if the exam is held in multiple shifts.
