HPPTCL is hiring 25 Apprentice Trainees across 9 trades under the World Bank funded Himachal Pradesh Power Sector Development Program. Only Bonafide Himachali female candidates can apply. Himachal Pradesh Power Transmission Corporation Limited (HPPTCL) has released Advertisement No. HPPTCL/P&A/Rect/Apprentices/26-2908 for engagement of 25 Apprentice Trainees in engineering, IT, finance, HR, environment and social work trades. The engagement is for one year only with no extension whatsoever. Female candidates who are bonafide Himachalis and hold the required qualification can apply offline.

Who Can Apply?

• Gender: Only female candidates are eligible.
• Domicile: You must be a Bonafide Himachali.
• Qualification: You need the qualification listed for your chosen trade above.
• Freshness of degree: Your diploma/degree should not be more than 5 years old between the date of passing and the date of joining.
• One trade only: You can apply for only one trade. If you send more than one form, the latest one is kept and older ones are rejected.
• Result awaited candidates need not apply. You must meet the age and qualification criteria as on the closing date.
• Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in HPPTCL, or who are already registered/trained under BOAT/NATS, cannot apply.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 30 years as on the closing date

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed monthly stipend during the one-year apprenticeship.
• The exact stipend amount is paid as per Apprenticeship rules; there is no guarantee of a job after training.

Selection Process (No Interview)

There is no written exam and no interview. Selection works like this:

1. Shortlisting on Marks: Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in Matric / +2 / Diploma / Degree.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original testimonials, certificates, Himachali Bonafide certificate and age proof.

The contract of selected candidates will be registered under the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) / National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.

2. Fill in the form with full details in the prescribed format.
3. Attach copies of your educational certificates (10th / +2 / Diploma / Degree).
4. Send the completed application to the Managing Director, HPPTCL, Himfed Bhawan, Panjari, Shimla-171005 so it reaches by 10 July 2026.
5. Incomplete applications are rejected straightaway. No application through any other mode will be accepted.

• Assist in day-to-day technical and office work of the assigned department
