The Directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Himachal Pradesh, has released a fresh notification for 6 Radiographer Job Trainee posts under direct recruitment. All 6 posts are reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) with a minimum 40% permanent disability certificate issued by the competent authority. - You should be between 18 and 45 years of age.

Salary
- Fixed monthly salary of Rs. 18,000 per month as a Job Trainee.
Selection Process (No Written Exam)
Selection is purely merit-based as per parameters fixed by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Himachal Pradesh. A merit list will be prepared on a total of 30 marks:
- Educational Qualification: 10 marks
- Disability Percentage: 6 marks
- Additional Qualification: 4 marks
- Experience: 2 marks
- BPL Family: 2 marks
- Backward Area: 1 mark
- Landless Family: 1 mark
- Non Employment Certificate: 1 mark
- Widow/Divorced/Single Woman: 1 mark
- Single Daughter/Orphan: 1 mark
- Training Related to Post: 1 mark
Total: 30 marks. No written examination will be conducted.

Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray, CT scan, MRI and other radiological imaging equipment at HP government hospitals
- Position patients correctly for accurate radiographic examinations
- Maintain proper records of patient scans and imaging reports
- Follow radiation safety protocols and protect patients and staff
- Assist doctors and radiologists during diagnostic procedures
- Keep the imaging equipment clean, calibrated, and report any faults promptly
- Educate patients on the procedure and ensure their comfort during the scan
