The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a Government of India Central PSE, has released Recruitment Notification No. 03/2026 dated 04 June 2026 for Engineer (Chemical). The notice is for engagement on Fixed Tenure Contract (Adhoc basis). • Course Mode: The qualification must be through a full-time regular course approved or recognised by UGC, AICTE, NCVT, or AIU as applicable.
• Integrated Degree: A 5-year B.E./B.Tech plus M.E./M.Tech integrated dual degree in the relevant engineering discipline can also be considered where applicable.
• Preferred Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates who completed Apprenticeship Training in FACT in the prescribed qualification and submitted the COP.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.

Other Conditions

• Gender: Only male candidates can apply because the work involves shift duty.
• Previous FACT Engagement: Candidates who resigned or were relieved from FACT Engineer (Chemical) temporary or adhoc engagement before completing the term are not eligible.
• Current FACT FTC Employees: Current Engineer (Chemical) fixed tenure employees may apply, but appointment from this panel will be considered only after completion of their ongoing maximum tenure, subject to rules and panel validity.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 26 years old based on the birth-date range mentioned in the notification.
• Age reference date: All eligibility conditions, including age, are counted as on 01 June 2026.
• Birth-date range: You should have been born on or between 01 June 2000 and 31 May 2008.
• SC/ST Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.
• OBC (NCL) Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.
• Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation applies as per Government of India guidelines.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get consolidated pay of Rs. 31,000 per month.
• There will be an increase of 3 percent after successful completion of each year.
• Leave, ESI, Provident Fund, and TA/DA for duty travel will apply based on eligibility and FACT rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

FACT has not announced a written test for this notification. Selection is based on online registration, document verification, and merit ranking during the walk-in process.

1. Online Registration: Register through the official FACT link between 04 June 2026 and 11:00 AM on 18 June 2026.
2. Walk-in Document Verification: Attend the walk-in selection on 18 June 2026 at 9:00 AM at HR Department, FEDO Buildings, Eloor, Udyogamandal.
3. Merit Ranking: FACT will rank candidates by completed FACT apprenticeship with COP, earlier year of passing the relevant qualification, and earlier date of birth.
4. Medical Examination: Provisionally selected candidates must pass the pre-employment medical examination by FACT's Medical Officer.
5. Police Clearance: Engagement is also subject to submission of a Police Clearance Certificate.

• Follow safety, quality, and production instructions issued by FACT

• Support compliance with company procedures, medical fitness, and site discipline rules
