The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) runs the ESIC Medical College & Hospital at Beltola, Guwahati under the Ministry of Labour & Employment. It now needs one part-time Homeopathy Physician to treat patients in its Homeopathy department. This is a walk-in interview — you do not fill any form online. You only need to reach the venue on the interview date with your original documents and self-attested copies.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Degree in Homeopathy (BHMS) from a recognised University, State Board or Council, recognised under the Homeopathy Central Council Act, 1973.
• Registration: You must be enrolled on the Central Register of Homeopathy or the State Register of Homeopathy.

Age Limit

• Your age should not be more than 35 years as on the date of interview (6 July 2026).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC candidates get age relaxation as per Central Government rules.
• No age relaxation is allowed if an SC/ST/OBC candidate applies against the unreserved (UR) vacancy.

Salary

• You will get a fixed salary of Rs. 50,000 per month (consolidated).
• This is a "no work, no pay" part-time engagement — you work 5 hours a day, 6 days a week.

Application Fee

• There is no application fee for the walk-in interview.
• If you are selected, you must deposit a security amount of Rs. 30,000 by Demand Draft or Banker's Cheque in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. 1", payable at Guwahati.
• No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.

Selection Process

Selection is done through a walk-in interview. There is no written exam.

1. Document Verification: Report two hours before the interview time so your original documents can be checked. Only candidates whose documents are verified will be allowed to face the interview.
2. Walk-in Interview: The Selection Board interviews you on the spot. Its decision is final.
3. Medical Fitness: Your final selection depends on you proving your medical fitness.

• Work 5 hours a day, 6 days a week as per the hospital schedule
