The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Model Hospital, Katha, Baddi, District Solan, Himachal Pradesh has released Advertisement No. 04/2026 for walk-in-interview to fill up 49 contractual doctor posts. This includes 32 Senior Residents, 12 Full Time/Part Time Specialists, 1 Super Specialist (Cardiology) and 4 Senior Residents against GDMO. Who Can Apply?

For Senior Resident (32 posts):

• Qualification: PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognised university.
• Non-PG candidates: 2 years of experience in concerned department.
• Age: Not exceeding 45 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules).

For Full Time/Part Time Specialist (12 posts):

• Qualification: PG Degree or Diploma in concerned specialty with 3 years experience after PG Degree OR 5 years experience post-Diploma.
• Age: Less than 69 years as on date of interview.

For Super Specialist - Cardiology (1 post):

• Qualification: Post-Graduation in concerned specialty plus DM/M.Ch in the concerned Super Specialty. Must be registered with Medical Council of India or State Medical Council.
• Age: Not exceeding 69 years.

For Senior Resident Against GDMO (4 posts):

• Qualification: PG Degree/Diploma OR MBBS Degree from a recognised university with at least 2 years working experience in the same discipline.
• Age: Not exceeding 45 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules).

Age Limit

• Senior Resident / SR against GDMO: Not exceeding 45 years on date of interview.
• Specialist / Super Specialist: Less than 69 years on date of interview.
• Age Relaxation: For SC/ST/OBC/PH as per Central Government rules.

Salary (Emoluments)

• Emoluments will be paid as per Central Government rules adopted by ESIC for all posts.
• Super Specialist (Cardiology): Consolidated remuneration as per ESIC Hqrs F.No Z-17/11/1/2007/Med IV (Pt File) dated 13.04.2022 and U-13/14/38/2020Med-I(ESIC/SC) dated 02.02.2021.
• Engagement is on a "no work no pay" basis.
• No PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion or Leave benefits will be admissible.

Application Fee

• The notification does not specify an application fee for the walk-in.
• Security Deposit (on selection): Selected candidates must pay Rs. 50,000 as security deposit through Demand Draft in favour of ESIC Fund Account No. 1 payable at Baddi, refundable after successful completion of contract period and "No dues certificate".
• Selected candidates must also execute an agreement on Rs. 100 non-judicial stamp paper (cost borne by the candidate).

Selection Process

Selection will be made through walk-in-interview. There is no written exam.

1. Walk-in-Interview: Attend on 21 May 2026. Reporting from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interview starts at 10:00 AM.
2. Document Verification: Bring original certificates plus one set of self-attested photocopies along with the duly filled application form.
3. Medical Fitness: Selection is subject to candidates proving medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents.
4. Final Selection: Decision of the Interview Board will be final on all aspects. Preference will be given to full-time specialists over part-time.

2. Fill the form in CAPITAL LETTERS with all required details (Name, DOB, Category, Address, Qualifications, Experience).
3. Affix a self-attested passport-size photograph on the application.
4. Reach the Office of Medical Superintendent, 3rd Floor, ESIC Model Hospital, Katha, Baddi (H.P.) - 173205 on 21 May 2026.
5. Reporting time: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
6. Carry original certificates (Age proof, MBBS/PG, MCI Registration, Caste, Experience, NOC if applicable) plus self-attested photocopies and two recent passport-size photographs.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

• Participate in clinical meetings, academic activities and ward rounds with senior consultants
• Supervise junior doctors, residents and nursing staff in the unit
• Follow ESIC hospital protocols, infection control and patient safety guidelines
• Respond to medical emergencies including night duty and on-call duty
