Who Can Apply?

For Joint Director (Administration) - Pay Level 13:

  • Qualification: Degree from a recognized university
  • Experience: 12 years in administration, establishment, or accounts
  • Must hold an analogous post or have 5 years in Level 12 (Rs. 78,800-2,09,200)

For Joint Director (Accounts) - Pay Level 13:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • Experience: 10 years in Accounts, Management of Finance and Budgeting
  • Must hold an analogous post or have 5 years in Level 12 (Rs. 78,800-2,09,200)

For Addl Chief Construction Engineer - Pay Level 13:

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture
  • Experience: 10 years in planning or execution of civil works
  • Also open to Service Officers of Colonel rank (Level 13) or Lt. Colonel (Level 12A with 5 years service)

For Senior Accounts Officer Grade-II - Pay Level 10:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • Experience: 3 years in Accounts, management or finance and budgeting
  • Must hold an analogous post or have 2 years in Level 9 or 4 years in Level 8

For Administrative Officer & Stores Officer - Pay Level 7:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • Experience: 2-3 years in administration or stores management respectively
  • Must hold an analogous post or have 5 years in Level 6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400)

For Accounts Officer - Pay Level 7:

  • Qualification: Degree from a recognized university plus pass in Subordinate Accounts Service exam or equivalent training
  • Experience: 3 years in cash, accounts, and budget work
  • Must hold an analogous post or have 5 years in Level 6

For Private Secretary - Pay Level 7:

  • Officers holding the post of Stenographer under the Central Government on a regular basis
  • Must hold an analogous post or have 5 years in Level 6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400)

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.
  • This limit applies to all posts including deputation on short-term contract basis.

Salary

  • Pay Level 13: Rs. 1,31,100 to Rs. 2,16,600 per month (Joint Director, Addl CCE)
  • Pay Level 10: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month (Sr. Accounts Officer Gr-II)
  • Pay Level 7: Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 per month (AO, Stores Officer, Accounts Officer, PS)
  • You will also receive DA, HRA, TA, and other allowances as per Central Government rules during deputation.

Selection Process

There is no written exam for these deputation posts. Selection will be based on:

  1. Screening of Applications: Your application, service record, and APARs for the last 5 years (2019-20 to 2023-24) will be evaluated.
  2. Document Verification: All certificates, experience proof, and qualification documents will be verified.
  3. Interview (if required): Shortlisted candidates may be called for a personal interaction.

Note: Officers in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation, and deputationists are not eligible for promotion.

Responsibilities

  • Handle administrative and personnel matters in DRDO labs and establishments

  • Keep records of stores, inventory, and procurement activities as per government procedures

  • Assist senior officers with secretarial duties including shorthand and confidential work
  • Monitor settlement of audit objections and maintain accounts as per government norms
  • Coordinate with trade unions and handle establishment matters including reservation rosters
  • Follow all DRDO security protocols and government rules applicable to defence establishments

Knowledge of scales of accommodation, budget monitoring and quantity (for Addl CCE post)
