OFK Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Overview

Ordnance Factory Khamaria (OFK), a unit of Munitions India Limited, is taking Graduate and Technician Apprentices for structured training at its Jabalpur factory under the Ministry of Defence. The engagement runs under the Apprentices Act and gives you one year of supervised workplace training rather than a permanent appointment. The notice brings technical engineering branches and non-technical graduate streams into the same training session, so you should choose the stream that matches the qualification shown on your certificate.

Posts and Disciplines

• Chemical Engineering: graduate and diploma trainees work with teams handling process discipline, safe material use and production support.
• Civil Engineering: graduate and diploma trainees support the factory's buildings, utilities, maintenance records and site-related engineering work.
• Electrical Engineering: graduate and diploma trainees learn around electrical equipment, power systems, inspections and maintenance routines.
• Mechanical Engineering: graduate and diploma trainees get exposure to machinery, production equipment, drawings and preventive maintenance.
• Computer Science: graduate trainees support digital records, systems and data-related work used by the factory.
• B.A. stream: non-technical graduates may be assigned office, coordination and record-handling work during training.
• B.Com. stream: commerce graduates may learn accounts support, registers and routine commercial documentation.
• B.Sc. stream: science graduates may assist with technical records, measurements and laboratory-linked support appropriate to their subjects.

Post-wise Duties

Graduate Apprentice

You will learn your discipline through supervised practical assignments, keep training records and support the section where OFK places you. Technical graduates can expect branch-related exposure, while arts, commerce and science graduates may receive work suited to their academic stream.

Technician Apprentice

You will assist experienced staff with hands-on engineering routines, observe safe operating practices and record the work completed during training. Your assignment will remain within the chemical, civil, electrical or mechanical diploma branch selected in the form.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Training status: this is apprenticeship training, and completion does not create a right to employment with OFK or Munitions India Limited.
• Previous training: you cannot join if you have already completed at least one year of apprenticeship or training under the Apprentices Act after graduation or diploma.
• Study gap: a gap of more than five years between passing the degree or diploma and starting training makes you ineligible.
• Current study: you must declare that you are not enrolled in a regular course at the time of applying.
• Reservation: the apprenticeship rules apply reservation for SC, ST, OBC and persons with disabilities.
• Travel support: OFK will not pay TA or DA for attending the selection formalities.

Paste one self-attested passport-size photograph on the form, enclose another photograph, and include self-attested qualification and category certificates.
