Directorate of Pay Verification (DPV) Gujarat Legal Executive Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Directorate of Pay Verification, Gujarat State, under the Finance Department, has released a notification for 1 Legal Executive (કાયદા અધિકારી) post on a contractual basis. The selected candidate will work at "Vima ane Lekha Bhavan" in Gandhinagar and will handle legal cases related to pay fixation and verification. No written exam — selection is through interview only. Advocates with practice experience in the High Court or Supreme Court are encouraged to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognised Indian university with eligibility to practice law.
• Bar Council Registration: You must be registered with the Bar Council of Gujarat.
• Experience: At least 5 years of practice as an Advocate in any court. Out of these, 3 years must be in the Hon'ble High Court OR 3 years handling Supreme Court/High Court cases on behalf of the government.
• Computer Skills: CCC level computer proficiency is required.
• Language: Knowledge of English, Gujarati and Hindi is mandatory.
• Nationality: Indian citizen.

• Maximum age: 45 years at the time of application

Salary

• Fixed monthly remuneration: Rs. 60,000 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in the following stages:

1. Scrutiny of Applications: All applications received before the deadline will be scrutinised against the eligibility criteria.

3. Document Verification: You must bring all original certificates at the time of interview.
