Directorate of Medical & Health Services (DMHS), DNH&DD AYUSH Mission Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

The Directorate of Medical & Health Services, U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu has released a notification to fill 4 posts on a short-term contract basis under the National AYUSH Mission. The vacancies are spread across the Diu Ayush Hospital, the District Programme Management Unit (DPMU), and health facilities in Daman. Selection is based on interview only — there is no written exam for any of these posts. Candidates from across India can apply, as long as they meet the qualification and age criteria for their chosen post. The AYUSH Section runs these posts as part of the government's push to expand Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, and traditional medicine services in the Union Territory. Successful candidates will be posted at the Diu Ayush Hospital or the DPMU office and will support the delivery of AYUSH and general healthcare services to residents of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.

Who Can Apply?

Senior Medical Officer (Panchkarma) - Diu Ayush Hospital:

• You need a BAMS degree with MD in Panchakarma or Kayachikitsa.
• Age should not exceed 45 years.

Accountant - DPMU, DNH&DD:

• You need a B.Com degree from any recognized board.
• You must have at least 2 years of experience in a government sector accounting role.
• A Tally Accounting Software certificate and knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access) are required.
• You should be able to type English at 35 WPM.
• Age should not exceed 35 years.

Multi-Purpose Worker (MPW) - Daman:

• You need to have passed the Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) / Multipurpose Worker course.
• At least 1 year of field experience is required.
• Age should not exceed 30 years.

Staff Nurse - Diu Ayush Hospital:

• You need B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing, a 4-year B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc Nursing Ayurveda course, or a 2-year Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institute.
• Age should not exceed 35 years.

Age Limit

• Age limit is different for each post: 45 years (SMO Panchkarma), 35 years (Accountant and Staff Nurse), and 30 years (MPW) — all as maximum age limits.
• Age is calculated as on the date you submit your application in August 2026.
• No separate age relaxation for reserved categories is mentioned in this notification.

Salary

• Senior Medical Officer (Panchkarma): Rs. 60,000 per month (consolidated).
• Accountant: Rs. 25,000 per month (consolidated).
• Staff Nurse: Rs. 24,667 per month (approx., consolidated).
• Multi-Purpose Worker (MPW): Rs. 15,000 per month (Rs. 10,000 fixed remuneration + Rs. 5,000 performance-linked payment).
• These are consolidated contract salaries — no separate DA/HRA is mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

All 4 posts are filled through interview only:

1. Shortlisting: Your application is screened against the qualification and age criteria for your chosen post.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are informed by email and phone at least 7 days in advance about the date, time, and venue of the interview.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview, and the Director/Mission Director reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or cancel the selection process at any stage.
