DHS Giridih District Programme Coordinator Recruitment 2026 (Advt No. 01/2026)

The Office of the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, DHS Giridih, under the Jharkhand State Arogya Society (JSAS), has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 for one District Programme Coordinator position under the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). The post is on a one-year contract, extendable based on annual performance appraisal. Who Can Apply?

  • Qualification: Full-time regular University Degree — MBBS / MBA in Healthcare / Master of Health Administration / Master of Hospital Administration / Master of Public Health
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in implementing government health insurance programmes or in the Insurance Industry / TPA
  • Required Skills: Strong analytical and management skills, ability to manage teams, project management focus, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong business focus, fluency in English
  • You must submit a CGPA conversion chart along with the marksheet if your qualification uses CGPA

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 45 years
  • Age is calculated as on 06 May 2026

Salary

  • Consolidated honorarium of Rs. 50,000 per month (fixed)
  • This is a contractual fixed pay — no DA or HRA applicable
  • The contract is initially for 1 year and may be extended yearly subject to Annual Performance Appraisal
  • Either side can end the contract with one month's notice or one month's salary in lieu

Selection Process

The selection happens in two stages:

  1. Shortlisting: The committee will shortlist candidates based on advertised qualifications and experience
  2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The final selection is based on the interview committee's decision, which is binding

The final merit list will be published on the Giridih District website giridih.nic.in and on the office notice board, with a newspaper notice announcing the publication.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise district-level operations of Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY (AB-PMJAY) and oversee overall administration in Giridih
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines on beneficiary identification, service utilisation, awareness, hospital network expansion, monitoring, audit, training, reporting, and MIS
  • Maintain quality and timeliness of programme data for accurate report generation
  • Conduct random reviews of pre-authorisations and insurance claims
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth data flow to the state level on a periodic basis
  • Organise routine, periodical, and surveillance visits to all participating entities to ensure processes follow defined standards
  • Carry out any other work assigned by JSAS or the District Nodal Officer

MBBS / MBA in Healthcare / Master of Health Administration / Master of Hospital Administration / Master of Public Health (full-time regular degree)

Preferred Qualification

Experience in government health insurance programmes or in Insurance Industry / TPA
