District Health Society, Erode has invited applications to fill 19 contractual posts across various National Health Mission (NHM) schemes — including the District Early Intervention Centre (DEIC), NPCDCS, Tribal Mobile Medical Unit, and Wellness Centres — in government hospitals and primary health centres across Erode district. Who Can Apply?

Qualification requirements are different for each post — check the table above for exact details. In general:

• Doctor-level posts (Yoga & Naturopathy Doctor, Ayurveda Doctor, Siddha Doctor, Consultant): need a BNYS, BAMS, or MD in the relevant subject.
• Paramedical and therapy posts (Yoga Professional, Siddha Pharmacist, Siddha Therapeutic Assistant, Lab Technician): need a relevant diploma or degree, with some requiring certificates issued only by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
• Counsellor and Special Educator posts: need a degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Special Education, with relevant registration (RCI for Special Educator).
• Data Assistant: needs a computer/IT-related degree plus 1 year of experience and typing skills.
• Attender (MPW): needs only 8th pass with the ability to read and write Tamil.

Age Limit

• Special Educator for Behavioural Therapy: Age must be below 40 years.
• District Public Health Laboratory Technician Gr-3: Age must be 30 years or below.
• Age limit is not specified for the remaining posts in the notification.

Salary

• All salaries are consolidated contractual pay; no separate DA/HRA is mentioned.

Selection Process

Selection is mostly through direct interview, with one exception:

1. Interview: Applies to all posts except Siddha Therapeutic Assistant.
2. Document Verification: Your original certificates are checked against the self-attested copies submitted with your application.

The Siddha Therapeutic Assistant (Female and Male) post is filled without an interview, based on document scrutiny.

3. Attach self-attested copies of your date of birth proof, education certificates, registration certificate, ID proof (Voter ID/Aadhaar/Ration Card), community certificate, experience certificate, and No Objection Certificate (if applicable).
4. Submit separate applications if you are applying for more than one post.
