Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) has released a recruitment notification for 6 vacant posts under the National Health Mission (NHM) / National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) program. Who Can Apply?

Microbiologist

• Qualification: MBBS degree + MD in Microbiology from a recognized institute, recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI)
• Registration: Valid Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) Registration and Renewal is mandatory
• Age: Up to 70 years

CLMC Manager

• Qualification: Any Graduation in Hospital Management + MBA / MPH / MHA degree
• Age: Up to 38 years (Open category)

Lab Technician

• Qualification: 12th Pass + DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) from a recognized university
• Registration: Valid Council Registration with Renewal is required
• Age: Up to 38 years (Open), relaxation for SEBC and other reserved categories

Data Entry Operator

• Qualification: B.Com + MSCIT (Maharashtra State Certificate in Information Technology)
• Typing Speed: Marathi typing — 30 WPM, English typing — 40 WPM
• Additional Skill: Tally (accounting software) knowledge required
• Age: Up to 38 years (Open category)

Age Limit

• Microbiologist: Up to 70 years
• CLMC Manager: Up to 38 years (Open category)
• Lab Technician: Up to 38 years (Open), relaxation for SEBC and reserved categories as per government rules
• Data Entry Operator: Up to 38 years (Open category)
• Age is calculated as on the date the notification was published
• Candidates above 60 years must submit a physical fitness certificate from the District Civil Surgeon

Salary

• Microbiologist: Rs. 75,000 per month
• CLMC Manager: Rs. 35,000 per month
• Lab Technician: Rs. 17,000 per month
• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 18,000 per month
• These are fixed contractual payments under NHM. No government pay scale or allowances apply as these are not state service posts.

• Reserved categories: Rs. 250
• Payment mode: Demand Draft (DD) only — payable to Aurangabad City Urban Health Society Municipal Corporation, Aurangabad

Selection Process

These are NHM contractual posts with selection based on merit and review of academic credentials. No written exam is announced in the notification.

2. Merit-Based Shortlisting: Candidates shortlisted based on educational qualification and relevant experience
3. Document Verification: All original certificates to be produced at the time of interview/selection

• Conduct microbiological tests on patient samples in the hospital laboratory
• Manage City Level Monitoring Committee (CLMC) operations and coordinate with NHM health programs
• Perform laboratory tests as per standard protocols and record results accurately
• Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and ensure quality control
• Enter patient data, laboratory reports, and program data into digital systems accurately
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to senior officials and NHM program managers
• Follow infection control and bio-safety protocols in the laboratory setting
• Assist in disease surveillance, data collection, and public health monitoring activities
