Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (formerly Aurangabad Municipal Corporation) has released advertisement CSMC/342/2025-Health dated 06 April 2026 to fill vacant medical posts under NUHM. The engagement is purely contractual and valid up to 29 June 2026, with extension subject to NUHM sanction for 2025-26. Candidates must attend the walk-in interview at the venue mentioned below — no postal or online applications will be accepted.

Vacancy Breakdown

CSMC has a total of 15 vacancies spread across three medical posts:

• Paediatrician: 1 post (Reserved for EWS)
• Full Time Medical Officer (FTMO): 1 post (Reserved for NTB)
• Part Time Medical Officer (PTMO): 13 posts (No reservation - open to all)

Who Can Apply?

Eligibility depends on the post you are applying for. You must have a valid Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) registration with renewal in all cases.

Paediatrician

• Qualification: MBBS with MD (Paediatrics) OR MBBS with DCH OR MBBS with DNB
• MMC Registration: Valid and renewed
• Experience: Preference to candidates with experience in government or semi-government hospitals

Full Time Medical Officer

• Qualification: MBBS with valid MMC registration (renewed)
• Experience: Government/semi-government hospital experience preferred

Part Time Medical Officer

• Qualification: MBBS with valid MMC registration (renewed)
• Experience: Government/semi-government hospital experience preferred

You must also submit a Physical Fitness certificate from a Civil Surgeon and should not have any pending disciplinary, financial, criminal or other serious cases against you.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 70 years
• Reference date: As on the walk-in date (01 May 2026)
• This is a relatively relaxed upper limit — retired medical officers can also apply

Salary

CSMC offers an attractive consolidated monthly honorarium under NUHM:

• Paediatrician: Rs. 75,000 per month (consolidated)
• Full Time Medical Officer: Rs. 60,000 per month (consolidated)
• Part Time Medical Officer: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
• Pay is purely contractual under NUHM and does not follow regular state pay scales

Application Fee

You need to pay the fee by Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Aurangabad City Urban Health Society Municipal Corporation, Aurangabad" on any nationalised bank:

• Open / General category: Rs. 500
• Reserved category: Rs. 250
• Fee payment mode: Demand Draft only (attach with application form)

Selection Process

Selection is done through a walk-in interview — there is no written exam. The process includes:

1. Document Verification: All original certificates are checked on the walk-in date
2. Walk-in Interview: Conducted by the selection committee of CSMC
3. Merit List: Final selection is based on interview marks, qualification grade and experience
4. Offer Letter: Selected candidates must join within 7 days of receiving the appointment order
5. Bond: You need to submit a Rs. 100 stamp paper bond agreeing to the contract terms

How to Apply

2. Fill the form with all required details and paste a passport-size photo (attested)
3. Attach the Demand Draft (Rs. 500 Open / Rs. 250 Reserved) in favour of Aurangabad City Urban Health Society Municipal Corporation
4. Attach self-attested copies of: MBBS/PG degree, MMC registration certificate (with renewal), birth certificate (Class 10 / 12 marksheet), caste certificate (if reserved), domicile certificate, experience certificates, Aadhaar, PAN
5. Reach the venue between 11:00 AM and 03:00 PM on 01 May 2026: Data Center, City Mall Building, Nirala Bazaar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
6. Submit the application in person and attend the walk-in interview on the same day

• Provide out-patient and in-patient medical care at NUHM urban health centres and municipal dispensaries under CSMC
• Handle paediatric cases, maternal health checks and routine adult consultations as per post assignment
• Support national health programmes (immunisation, TB, HIV, NCD screening, maternal-child health) run under the National Urban Health Mission
• Maintain patient records, case sheets and daily OPD registers as per CSMC and NHM guidelines
• Refer complicated cases to higher-level hospitals and coordinate follow-up care
• Conduct health awareness camps and community outreach activities in the urban slums of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
• Work under the supervision of the Medical Health Officer, CSMC and follow contract terms set by NUHM Maharashtra
• Submit monthly reports on patient footfall, programme indicators and service delivery to the NUHM cell
