Selection Process

For Regular Group B and C Posts (where desirable qualification & experience both required)

  1. Written Test (Objective/MCQ): Carries 80% weightage of total marks
  2. Desirable Qualification: Carries 10% weightage
  3. Desirable Experience: Carries 10% weightage

If no desirable qualification or experience is required, 100% weightage goes to Written Test/Skill Test. If only one of them is required, 90% for Written Test and 10% for the qualification or experience.

For Consultant Posts

  1. Personal Interview by an appropriate committee
  2. If more than 20 applications are received for a post, a screening Written Examination followed by Personal Interview will be conducted
  3. Skill Test for technical posts (before personal interview)

Responsibilities

  • Handle patient care, diagnosis, and treatment for persons with disabilities at the rehabilitation centre
  • Assist in conducting rehabilitation therapies including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, case files, and medical reports accurately
  • Work with the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team to develop patient treatment plans
  • Manage administrative tasks including correspondence, file management, and data entry
  • Follow all institute protocols, government rules, and standard operating procedures
  • Assist in training programs, workshops, and research activities conducted by the institute

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

12th Class (for Typist/Clerk); MBBS (for GDMO); Bachelor's/Master's Degree (for other posts)

Preferred Qualification

MD in PMR, Post-Graduate Degrees in respective fields, Ph.D., RCI recognized qualifications

Required Skills

Clinical skills, rehabilitation therapy knowledge, typing proficiency (for Clerk), computer knowledge, administrative skills

Pay Matrix Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200) to Level-10 (Rs. 56,100-1,77,500) for regular posts; Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 60,000 consolidated for consultant posts

Allowances

LTC, Medical Reimbursement, and other allowances as per Government of India rules for regular posts. Consultant posts: fixed consolidated pay with no other allowances. CDEIC consultants get 5% annual increment.
