Who Can Apply?

Senior Resident (3 Years Central Residency Scheme)

• Qualification: Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned speciality from a recognised university.
• Registration: Must be registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Fallback (if PG doctors not available): MBBS doctors with 2 years of experience (of which 1 year must be in the concerned speciality at a government or private hospital — NOT a private clinic) may be engaged for 1 year on contract basis.
• Candidates who have already completed 3 years as Senior Resident under Central Residency Scheme are NOT eligible.
• Candidates already working in a Government Institution must apply through proper channel.

Full-Time Contractual Specialist

• Qualification: MBBS with Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university.
• Experience: 3 years after acquiring PG Degree OR 5 years after acquiring PG Diploma.
• Registration: DMC / MCI registration mandatory.

Part-Time Contractual Super Specialist

• Entry Level: MBBS, MD/MS/DNB with DM/DNB or M.Ch in the concerned Super Speciality from an MCI-recognised medical college with 3 years of experience.
• Senior Level: Same qualifications as above with 5 years of experience.
• For holders of a 5-year DM/MCh qualification, the period of senior PG residency rendered in the last part of the DM/MCh shall count towards the experience requirement.

Age Limit

• Senior Resident (3 Years): Not exceeding 45 years as on date of interview (24.04.2026). Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Central Government rules.
• Full-Time Contractual Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on date of interview.
• Part-Time Contractual Super Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years as on date of interview.
• OBC certificate must be in the Non-Creamy Layer format, issued not earlier than 1 year from the cut-off date.

Salary

• Senior Resident (3 Years CRS): Basic pay Rs. 67,700/- as per Level-11 of the 7th CPC matrix plus allowances as per rules. Deduction of Rs. 1,688/- if the candidate holds only a Diploma, and Rs. 2,813/- if the candidate does not possess a Degree/Diploma.
• Full-Time Contractual Specialist: Consolidated monthly remuneration as per ESIC Headquarters' Office Memorandum No. Z-17/11/1/2007/Med.IV dated 13.04.2022 and Z-11012/51/2022-MED-VI dated 08.12.2022 (varies by Junior/Senior level).
• Part-Time Super Specialist (Entry Level): Rs. 1,00,000/- per month for 16 hours per week (Option 1: Rs. 20,000 emergency visit charge + Rs. 1,200/- per additional hour / Option 2: Fixed % of CGHS rates on case-to-case basis).
• Part-Time Super Specialist Consultant (Sr. Level): Rs. 1,50,000/- per month for 16 hours per week plus the same emergency/additional-hour structure.

• Mode: Demand Draft payable at 'New Delhi' in favour of 'ESIC Fund Account No. 1'.

Selection Process

1. Walk-in Interview on 24.04.2026 — reporting time 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM at ESIC Hospital, Sector-15, Rohini, Delhi.
2. Document Verification — originals of all certificates will be checked on the spot against self-attested photocopies.
3. Personal Interview — conducted by the selection committee; candidates are assessed on academic record, experience and subject knowledge.
4. Merit-based engagement — selected candidates must deposit Rs. 30,000/- (refundable after minimum 6 months of service) and sign an agreement on Rs. 100/- stamp paper. Specialists must additionally furnish a Rs. 20,00,000/- (Rs. 20 lakh) professional indemnity bond.
5. No Written Exam — selection is based purely on the walk-in interview.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in.

How to Apply

2. Prepare a Demand Draft for the application fee (Rs. 300 Gen/OBC, Rs. 75 SC/ST) in favour of 'ESIC Fund Account No. 1' payable at New Delhi. Women and PwBD candidates do not need a DD.
3. Self-attest photocopies of: Matriculation (DOB proof), Caste Certificate, MBBS passing certificate, PG Degree/Diploma, valid DMC/MCI registration, and Experience Certificate.
4. Carry two recent passport-size photographs and all original documents for verification.
5. Government employees must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
6. Reach ESIC Hospital, Sector-15, Rohini, Delhi-110089 on 24 April 2026 between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Late entries will not be entertained.
7. Private practice is not allowed (except for Part-Time Super Specialists). Hostel/quarters will NOT be provided.

• Handle OPD and ward duties in your allotted speciality at ESIC Hospital, Rohini as per the duty roster fixed by the Medical Superintendent.
• Manage emergency cases and night-call duties in rotation, including ICU and casualty coverage where assigned.
• Perform routine procedures, investigations and surgeries appropriate to your department under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Maintain complete patient records, discharge summaries and case sheets as per ESIC Hospital standards.
• Follow infection-control, bio-medical waste and CGHS billing protocols while delivering clinical care to insured persons and their dependants.
• Assist in teaching, case discussions and departmental meetings held for junior residents and interns.
• Work in accordance with ESIC rules — no private practice (except Part-Time Super Specialists) and adherence to the signed agreement for the full contract period.
• Prepare professional indemnity documentation and submit insurance proof within 7 days of joining, as required for Specialist posts.
