CGG Monitoring Specialist Health Recruitment 2026: Overview
Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad, needs a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for a project that will independently check health-programme milestones and supporting evidence. The role is project-based and contractual, with a strong mix of research design, administrative-data analysis, field investigation and technical reporting. Your main challenge will be to make verification methods dependable in real-world settings, where information may come from management systems, programme records, facility visits and stakeholder discussions. This position fits an experienced specialist who can design a method, test the quality of evidence and explain the result clearly to programme leaders.
The assignment goes beyond routine dashboard tracking. You will help build verification frameworks, sampling approaches, data-validation checks and triangulation methods, then keep those methods consistent across milestones and field teams. The role also connects detailed analytical work with practical programme decisions: your findings must be traceable, technically sound and useful to government stakeholders. Experience with public-health programmes or externally aided projects is particularly relevant because the project combines administrative systems, service-delivery evidence and formal reporting.
Field and desk work are closely linked in this role. You may steer investigations and data collection, review management-information-system records, compare them with other evidence and turn the analysis into verification reports. The wider project also involves consultations, documentation and evidence-based recommendations, so strong writing and coordination skills matter alongside statistical judgment. You should be comfortable challenging inconsistent data while maintaining a clear audit trail for how conclusions were reached.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project tenure: the appointment is contractual and co-terminus with the health-sector project, with no automatic route to a regular CGG post.
- Anticipated assignment: recruitment is being conducted ahead of the project's expected commencement, and the notice does not by itself guarantee that CGG will make an appointment.
- Base and mobility: Hyderabad is the ordinary place of posting, but extensive travel within Telangana and outside the state may form part of field verification and stakeholder work.
- Method ownership: you may be responsible for keeping sampling, validation and triangulation methods consistent across different teams, milestones and evidence sources.
- Response-based screening: CGG can adjust the assessment method according to the number and profile of applications it receives.
- Exceptional profiles: comparable, demonstrable experience may receive consideration where the precise academic label differs, but only through selection-committee review and competent-authority approval.
- No automatic interview: completing the form does not create a right to be shortlisted, interviewed or appointed.
- Recruitment discretion: CGG may change the position requirement or cancel the recruitment process without making an appointment.
- Fair process: canvassing, recommendations or attempts to influence the decision can result in disqualification.
