About This Job

CGG Data Analyst MIS Specialist Recruitment 2026: Overview

Centre for Good Governance (CGG) is engaging a Data Analyst / MIS Specialist for a Health Sector Project based ordinarily in Hyderabad. This is a project-linked contractual assignment built around programme datasets, management information systems and evidence used to check health-sector indicators. The role connects technical data work with field verification, so it suits someone comfortable moving between databases, dashboards, programme records and findings collected during field studies. Your analysis will help the project team judge whether reported progress is complete, consistent and supported by reliable evidence.

This is more than a reporting-desk role: the work covers data extraction, cleaning, validation, interpretation and presentation for government programme review. You may work with large administrative or health datasets, compare information from multiple sources and turn the results into dashboards, visual reports and clear analytical notes. Experience with monitoring and evaluation or health information systems is especially useful, because the project focuses on indicator verification and evidence-based reporting rather than routine business analytics alone.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Project-linked tenure: The engagement is contractual and co-terminus with the Health Sector Project. It does not carry the permanence of a regular government appointment, and its continuation depends on the life and requirements of the assignment.
  • Project commencement: CGG has issued the recruitment in anticipation of the project beginning. The notice itself is not a promise that employment will be offered, even after you apply or take part in the screening process.
  • Place of work and travel: Your normal base will be Hyderabad, but the assignment includes extensive travel within Telangana and outside the state. Field studies and verification work can therefore form a practical part of the job.
  • Role fit: CGG can shortlist applicants by looking at how closely their education, relevant work and assignment experience match the project. Simply completing the online form does not create a right to an interview or appointment.
  • Comparable expertise: The selection committee may consider a professional with exceptional, demonstrable experience on similarly complex assignments even when the exact prescribed educational qualification is not held. Such consideration needs approval from the competent authority and should not be treated as an automatic relaxation.
  • Changing project needs: CGG may increase or reduce the number of positions, change the screening method according to the response received, or cancel the exercise. You should rely on updates issued by CGG while the recruitment remains active.
  • Professional conduct: Recommendations, pressure or any attempt to influence the decision can lead to disqualification at any stage. Your application should stand on the evidence in your education, experience and project work.
  • Original records: Keep your certificates and supporting credentials ready for checking if you are shortlisted. CGG includes verification of original records among the possible assessment stages for this project engagement.
