BRIC-THSTI Research Project Recruitment 2026 - 6 Posts

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI) has released Rolling Recruitment Notice No. THS/RN/01/2026/05-II for short-term research project positions. Who Can Apply?

Senior Project Associate

• Qualification: Master's degree in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognised university.
• Experience: You need at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in Microbiology.
• Work area: Microbial genetics, culture optimisation of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, and animal studies.

Principal Project Associate

• Qualification option 1: Master's degree in any Life Sciences branch with at least 8 years post-qualification experience in Microbiology.
• Qualification option 2: Ph.D. in Life Sciences or equivalent with at least 4 years post-qualification experience in Microbiology.
• Work area: Microbial genetics, culture optimisation, anaerobic bacteria work, and toxicity assays of selected bacterial taxa.

Research Associate-I

• Qualification: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences from a recognised university.
• Publication: You must have at least one SCI journal research paper.
• Thesis submitted candidates: Those who have submitted the Ph.D. thesis can apply, but fellowship will be at Project Associate-II level until Ph.D. award conditions are met.

Project Associate-II

• Qualification: Master's degree in Life Sciences with at least 2 years post-qualification experience in biomaterials and cell culture biology.
• Desirable skills: ELISA, real-time PCR, immunocytochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, small-animal preclinical research, drug testing, and therapeutic evaluation studies.

Age Limit

• Senior Project Associate: Up to 40 years.
• Principal Project Associate: Up to 40 years.
• Research Associate-I: Up to 35 years.
• Project Associate-II: Up to 35 years.
• Age relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years, PwBD candidates get 10 to 15 years depending on category, and eligible central government servants, institute employees, and ex-servicemen get relaxation as per rules.

Salary

• Research Associate-I: Rs. 58,000 plus HRA per month. Thesis-submitted candidates get Rs. 35,000 plus HRA.
• Principal Project Associate: Rs. 49,000 plus HRA per month.
• Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000 plus HRA per month.
• Project Associate-II: Rs. 42,000 plus HRA for NET/GATE/national-level selection candidates and Rs. 33,000 plus HRA for others.

Selection Process

BRIC-THSTI will conduct the selection on the walk-in day at its Faridabad campus. The exact combination of stages can vary by turnout and post, but the notice mentions written test, skill test, and interview.

1. Reporting and Document Check: Reach the venue by 9:00 AM with CV, copies, originals, and valid ID proof.
2. Written Test or Skill Test: THSTI may use this stage to screen candidates before interview.

4. Final Selection: Results and updates will be published only on the THSTI website and sent through email where required.
