BRIC-THSTI Project Technical Support-I Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI), under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, has released Recruitment Notice THS/RN/05/2026 dated 11 May 2026. This walk-in covers the Project Technical Support-I post under the project Lead optimization of sulfone, efloxate and adamantyl urea derivatives against drug-resistant M. Tuberculosis, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Ramandeep Singh. There is no written exam — selection is through a walk-in written test, skill test, or interview at THSTI Faridabad.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification (Either of the following)

• Option 1: Standard 10th with DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) or equivalent, plus 2 years experience in a research laboratory.
• Option 2: Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject or field, plus 1 year experience in a research laboratory.

Required Skills

• Washing of glassware and general laboratory cleaning
• Setting up and operating autoclaves
• Handling laboratory animals and routine cage changing

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 28 years (as on date of walk-in interview, 4 June 2026)
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years.
• PwBD: UR - 10 years, OBC - 13 years, SC/ST - 15 years.
• Ex-servicemen: Relaxation up to defence service rendered plus 3 years (minimum 6 months attested service).
• Central Government servants: Up to 5 years relaxation.

Salary

• You will get a monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 18,000 per month plus HRA.
• This is a short-term project-based contract position. Extension depends on satisfactory performance and tenure of the project.
• Selected candidates have no claim for regularisation of employment.

• Wash glassware, plasticware, and routine laboratory vessels following standard cleaning protocols
• Set up and operate autoclaves for media, buffers, and equipment sterilisation
• Handle laboratory animals and perform routine cage changing in approved animal facility
• Prepare buffers, reagents, and culture media under supervision of the principal investigator
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and follow biosafety protocols at all times
• Assist scientists with sample preparation and routine experimental setup
• Maintain stock registers for chemicals, consumables, and lab inventory
