BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI), an institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, has released Recruitment Notice THS/RN/05/2026 dated 11 May 2026. This walk-in covers the Project Research Scientist-I post under the project Exploring leucine metabolism pathway for development of novel interventions and vaccine against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Ramandeep Singh. There is no written exam for the general public — selection is through walk-in written test, skill test or interview held at THSTI Faridabad campus.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Qualification

• You must have a Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (including integrated PG degree) from a recognised university.

Desirable

• Experience in molecular biology, protein purification, and enzymatic assays.

Required Skills

• Analysis of RNA-seq and proteomics data
• Culturing in BSL-3 (Biosafety Level-3) laboratory
• Animal handling experience
• Biochemical assays and enzyme inhibition assays

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years (as on the date of walk-in interview, 4 June 2026)
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, OBC candidates get 3 years.
• PwBD: UR - 10 years, OBC - 13 years, SC/ST - 15 years.
• Ex-servicemen: Relaxation up to defence service rendered plus 3 years (minimum 6 months attested service).
• Central Government servants: Up to 5 years relaxation.

Salary

• You will get a monthly consolidated salary of Rs. 56,000 per month plus HRA.
• This is a short-term project-based position. Extension depends on satisfactory performance and project tenure.
• Selected candidates have no claim for regularisation of employment.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through:

1. Walk-in Written Test / Skill Test / Interview: Held on 4 June 2026 at 9:00 AM at THSTI Faridabad.
2. Screening: If many candidates appear, BRIC-THSTI will shortlist based on higher or relevant qualification and experience.
3. Document Verification: You must bring originals plus one photocopy set of all educational and experience certificates.

• Maintain accurate experimental records, generate data reports, and assist in manuscript preparation
