BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI), an institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, has released Recruitment Notice THS-C/RN/12/2026 dated 12 May 2026. The recruitment is to fill project positions at the Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA) for a clinical trial titled "Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability of Ayurveda regimen as an adjunct to anti-tuberculosis treatment (ATT) and macronutrient supplementation in adults with newly diagnosed drug-sensitive pulmonary tuberculosis." The study is funded by CCRAS and covers eight participating study sites. Selection for the Research Officer post is through walk-in interview on 25 May 2026, while the other four posts (Project Manager, CRA, Senior Project Associate, Consultant Finance) are filled through online application by 01 June 2026.

Who Can Apply?

Research Officer (Walk-in on 25 May 2026)

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree (including integrated PG) in any branch of Life Sciences with 3 years post-qualification experience in clinical trial monitoring. OR PhD with experience in clinical trial monitoring.
• Skills: Strong ICH-GCP understanding; experience with electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) and CTMS platforms; proficient in MS Office.

Project Manager (Monitoring) — Online

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree in any branch of Life Sciences with 5 years post-qualification experience in clinical trial monitoring. OR PhD in Life Sciences with 2 years post-qualification clinical trial monitoring experience.
• Desirable: Experience in clinical trial or public health project management in an academic clinical trials unit, CRO, or biotech/pharma company; line management experience.
• Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively to clinical sites across India.

Clinical Research Associate (CRA) — Online

• Qualification: Master's degree in any branch of life sciences, pharmacy, or public health/health-related discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant clinical trial monitoring experience. OR MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BAMS / BPT with relevant clinical trial monitoring experience.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP, GCLP, and regulatory guidelines; willingness to travel to trial sites; proficient in MS Office.

Senior Project Associate — Online

• Qualification: Postgraduate degree (including integrated PG) in any branch of Life Sciences AND Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification is mandatory.
• Skills: Computer proficiency in MS Office; understanding of GCP guidelines and clinical trial lifecycle; strong written and verbal English communication.

Consultant (Finance) — Online

• Qualification: Graduate in commerce with 4 years post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts of a reputed organisation. OR Postgraduate degree in commerce with 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Skills (Essential): Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), latest Tally ERP, administration and procurement procedures; strong communication.
• Desirable: Experience with government/semi-government/society-registered organisations; knowledge of GFR 2017 and CCRAS Research Policy; experience handling donor-funded projects, Utilization Certificates, and fund tracking.

Age Limit

• Research Officer: Maximum 40 years
• Project Manager (Monitoring): Up to 45 years
• Clinical Research Associate: Maximum 40 years
• Senior Project Associate: Maximum 35 years
• Consultant (Finance): Maximum 35 years
• Age reference date is the last date of online application (01 June 2026) or the walk-in date (for Research Officer).
• Age Relaxation: As per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates.

Salary

• Project Manager (Monitoring): Rs. 78,000 per month + HRA
• Research Officer / Clinical Research Associate: Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA
• Consultant (Finance): Rs. 60,000 per month (consolidated, HRA not separately mentioned)
• Senior Project Associate: Rs. 56,000 per month + HRA
• All positions are project-based, co-terminus with the DBT-AYUSH TB Study funded by CCRAS.

Selection Process

Selection is based on the following process:

• Manage and monitor clinical trial activities for the Ayurveda-Adjunct TB study across eight participating sites
• Conduct site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits as per approved monitoring plans
• Maintain Trial Master File (TMF), CRFs, and ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate release of project funds to study sites, maintain real-time fund tracking, and ensure GFR 2017 compliance (Consultant Finance)
• Prepare and submit Statements of Expenditure (SoE) and Utilization Certificates (UC) to CCRAS
• Identify protocol deviations, document them, and escalate critical issues to study leadership in a timely manner
• Support audit readiness, including internal and external audits, and follow up on CAPAs
• Provide training, mentoring, and capacity building to site staff and junior clinical research personnel
