BRIC-THSTI Multi-Post Recruitment 2026 - 11 Posts

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI), under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council and Department of Biotechnology, has released Recruitment Notice THS/RN/11/2026. This is a walk-in recruitment for short-term project positions in infectious disease, maternal health, vaccine, data analysis, and clinical data management projects. Life science graduates, medical graduates, data science candidates, and clinical data management professionals should check the post-wise eligibility before attending.

Who Can Apply?

Life Science and Laboratory Posts

• Project Technical Support-III: You need a Graduate degree in Life Sciences with 3 years research lab experience, or a PG degree in Life Sciences.
• Project Research Scientist-I: You need a Post-Graduation degree, including integrated PG, in a relevant Life Sciences branch.
• Skills: Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, ELISA, PCR/RT-PCR, recombinant DNA work, or BSL-3 laboratory work is useful for the relevant project.

Medical and Clinical Research Posts

• Project Research Scientist-II (Medical): You need MBBS/B.V.Sc./BDS with 3 years post-qualification clinical research experience, or MD/MVSc/MDS/MPH with the basic medical degree.
• Project Research Scientist-I (Medical): You need MBBS, BDS, BHMS, or BAMS from a recognised university.
• Clinical research skills: GCP knowledge, site coordination, data monitoring, and scientific writing are important for medical research roles.

Data and Computer Posts

• Data-analysis Project Technical Support-III: You need qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Bioinformatics as listed in the notice.
• Assistant Data Manager: You need computer/data qualification with 2 to 5 years clinical data management experience depending on your degree level.

Age Limit

• Project Technical Support-III, Project Research Scientist-I, Project Research Scientist-I (Medical), and Assistant Data Manager: maximum age 35 years.
• Project Research Scientist-II (Medical): maximum age 40 years.
• Age reference date: The interview date of the respective post is the crucial date for age, qualification, and experience.
• Relaxation: SC/ST get 5 years, OBC get 3 years, PwBD get 10 to 15 years by category, Central Government servants get up to 5 years, and Ex-servicemen get service period plus 3 years as per the notice.

Salary

• Project Technical Support-III: Rs. 28,000 per month plus HRA.
• Project Research Scientist-II (Medical): Rs. 80,000 per month plus HRA.
• Project Research Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000 per month plus HRA.
• Project Research Scientist-I (Medical): Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA.
• Assistant Data Manager: Rs. 50,000 per month.

Selection Process

BRIC-THSTI will conduct the walk-in selection at 9:00 AM on each post's interview date.

1. Reporting and Document Check: Bring latest CV, one set of photocopies, original certificates, and valid ID proof.
2. Written Test / Skill Test: The notice allows a written test or skill test where required for the post.
3. Interview: The final assessment is through interview for the relevant project position.
4. Screening if Needed: If many candidates attend, THSTI may screen candidates based on higher or more relevant qualification and experience.

• Handle assigned laboratory, clinical, data, or project research tasks

• Monitor project progress and report issues to the Principal Investigator
