Salary

• Basic Pay: Rs. 77,840 to Rs. 1,36,520 per month as per the 2nd National Judicial Pay Commission.
• In-hand salary: Approximately Rs. 1,00,000 per month after adding HRA, DA, and medical allowances.
• You will also get other allowances and judicial perks as per Bihar Government rules.

Selection Process

Selection is done in three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective): Two papers - General Studies (100 marks) and Law (150 marks). Held on 3 June 2026 at Patna centres.
2. Mains Examination (Descriptive): Five compulsory papers and three optional papers covering law subjects. Total 1,050 marks.
3. Personal Interview (Viva Voce): 100 marks. Final merit is based on Mains + Interview total.
