BEL EAT and Technician C Recruitment 2026 - 7 Posts

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has released Advertisement No. 2026-27/05/PK/EAT,T/002 dated 11 June 2026. The recruitment is for BEL Panchkula on a permanent basis, with one Engineering Assistant Trainee post and six Technician C posts. Who Can Apply?

Engineering Assistant Trainee (Electronics)

• Qualification: 3-year Diploma in Engineering in Electronics from a recognised institution.
• Marks: Minimum 60% aggregate marks; PwBD candidates need minimum 50%.
• Training: Selected EAT candidates will undergo 6 months of training with stipend before placement in the regular pay scale after the gradation test.

Technician C (Electronic Mechanic)

• Qualification: SSLC + ITI in Electronic Mechanic + 1-year apprenticeship with National Apprenticeship Certificate, or SSLC + 3-year National Apprenticeship Certificate course in the relevant trade.
• Marks: General, OBC and EWS candidates need minimum 60% aggregate marks; PwBD candidates need minimum 50%.
• Employment Exchange: Valid and active Haryana Employment Exchange registration is mandatory.

Reservation note: The EAT post is reserved for EWS, while Technician C has 1 UR, 2 EWS, and 3 OBC(NCL) vacancies. PwBD reservation and relaxation will follow Government guidelines where applicable.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years as on 1 June 2026.
• Upper age limit for UR/EWS category: 28 years as on 1 June 2026.
• OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation.
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation.
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation, subject to the vacancy and category conditions in the notice.
• Ex-Servicemen: relaxation as per Government guidelines.

Salary

• Engineering Assistant Trainee: WG-VII / CP-VI pay scale of Rs. 24,500 - 3% - Rs. 90,000 after training.
• EAT training stipend: Rs. 24,000 per month during the initial 6-month training period.
• Technician C: WG-IV / CP-V pay scale of Rs. 21,500 - 3% - Rs. 82,000.
• Other benefits include DA, HRA, perquisites at 30% of annual basic pay, medical reimbursement, group insurance, PF, pension, and gratuity as per BEL rules.

Application Fee

• GEN / OBC(NCL) / EWS: Rs. 590, including Rs. 500 fee plus 18% GST.
• SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: No fee.
• Payment mode: Online through SBI Collect.
• Use the BEL payment category for Technician C / EAT for PK unit.
• Keep the SBI Collect reference number and payment receipt for the online application.
• The fee is non-refundable, so check eligibility before payment.

Selection Process

The BEL Panchkula selection process is based mainly on a Computer Based Test for 150 marks. Admit cards will be downloaded from the BEL website or application portal; they will not be sent by post.

1. Computer Based Test: Part I General Aptitude for 50 marks and Part II Technical Aptitude for 100 marks.
2. Minimum Qualifying Marks: General/OBC/EWS need 35% in each part; SC/PwBD need 30% in each part.
3. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents and self-attested copies.
4. Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Appointment is subject to being found medically fit under BEL rules.

Expected CBT timing: The test is tentatively planned in July or August 2026. BEL will publish further updates on its official website.

Tie rule: If candidates get the same written-test marks, BEL will first compare technical-section marks, then general-awareness marks, then qualification percentage, and finally seniority by date of birth.
