About This Job

District AYUSH Society, Giridih is hiring 1 District Programme Manager (DPM) on a contract basis for the DPMU cell under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM), Jharkhand. If you are a graduate with an MBA in Healthcare Management or Master's in Health/Hospital Administration (or a 2-year PG Diploma in Hospital & Healthcare Management) plus 1 year experience in public health, you can apply. District AYUSH Society Giridih DPM Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The District AYUSH Society, Giridih (under National AYUSH Mission, Jharkhand) has released Advt. No. 01/2026 for one District Programme Manager post on contract basis to support the District Programme Management Unit (DPMU). The role involves planning, implementation and monitoring of National AYUSH Mission activities including AYUSH Health & Wellness Centres in the district. Selection is merit-based with weightage given to academics (50%), experience (30%) and interview (20%). Applications must be sent through Speed Post only.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Minimum Qualification

  • Graduation degree in any discipline including AYUSH, AND
  • MBA in Healthcare Management / Master's in Health/Hospital Administration / Post Graduation Diploma in Hospital & Healthcare Management (2 years) from an AICTE recognized institute.

Essential Minimum Experience

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in Public Health Programme.
  • Exposure to social sector schemes/missions at national, state or district level.

Required Minimum Competencies

  • Computer knowledge including MS Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel desirable).

Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working in the Health sector including AYUSH.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Maximum age: 60 years as on 1st August 2023

Salary

  • Consolidated remuneration: Rs. 50,000 per month as per NAM guidelines.
  • Annual enhancement of 3% based on satisfactory performance assessed by AYUSH performance committee.
  • Leave: Maximum 18 days per calendar year.

Selection Process

Selection is based on a 100-mark merit list:

  1. Academic Marks (50 marks): Graduation marks (30) + MBA/PG marks (20). For example, 60% in graduation gives 30% of 60 = 18 marks; 60% in PG gives 20% of 60 = 12 marks.
  2. Experience (30 marks): 5 marks for each year of working experience. 5 years experience = 25 marks (capped at 30).
  3. Interview (20 marks): 5 marks each for Technical Knowledge, Administrative & Managerial Knowledge, Personality/Communication/General Knowledge, and Practical Experience & Computer Knowledge.
  4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and personal interview under the chairmanship of the District Commissioner.

Note: If the number of applications increases considerably, a Written Exam may be conducted by the authority. Minimum qualifying marks are as per resolution No. 13026 dated 27.11.2012 issued by Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms & Rajbhasha, Jharkhand.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and implementation of National AYUSH Mission including AYUSH Health & Wellness Centres in Giridih district
  • Prepare and finalize the District Annual Action Plan of NAM in coordination with relevant divisions
  • Coordinate with district authorities and implementing agencies to roll out approved activities of the State Annual Action Plan
  • Maintain district-wise AYUSH profile and validate information uploaded on the National AYUSH Mission website
  • Verify financial sanctions, expenditure and utilization certificates submitted to the State
  • Conduct field visits to monitor different NAM activities
  • Provide information to State/Government of India for Parliament Questions and standing committee work
  • Liaise with State Programme Management Unit and AYUSH officers as needed
