The Office of the Superintendent, Asansol District Hospital, Paschim Bardhaman under the West Bengal Department of Health and Family Welfare has issued a circular for a walk-in interview to select 10 Stipendiary House Staff. No written exam is required — selection is done directly through a walk-in interview based on your MBBS academic marks. You can choose your preferred department from options like General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Orthopaedics, Eye, ENT, Radiology and Dermatology.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MBBS degree with completed internship
• Registration: You must be registered with the West Bengal Medical Council (WBMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI)
• Tenure: The engagement is for six months, based on your eligibility

• You should not be more than 35 years old as on 24 August 2026.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in the following stages:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview on 25 August 2026 at 12:00 noon at the DNB Seminar Hall, Asansol District Hospital, with your filled application and original documents.
2. Document Verification: Your academic marks in General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Paediatrics, Eye and ENT will be checked and used to prepare the merit list.
3. Department Allotment: You can give up to three department choices, and allotment is done based on your merit and preference.

2. Attach self-attested copies of your MBBS mark sheets, internship completion certificate, medical registration certificate, and Madhyamik certificate (for date of birth).
