The Andhra Pradesh Medical Services Recruitment Board (APMSRB), Mangalagiri, has released Notification No. 03/2026 dated 08.04.2026 inviting online applications for 26 contractual posts in Government Medical Colleges and Government General Hospitals across Andhra Pradesh. These posts are under the control of the Director of Medical Education (DME). If you have a medical background or an IT/data science qualification and prior work experience, this is your chance to contribute to public healthcare infrastructure in AP. Who Can Apply?

Nodal Officer (7 posts)

• Option 1: MBBS and PG Degree from an institution recognised by NMC/MCI
• Option 2: MBBS from an NMC/MCI recognised institution with a minimum of 3 years post-MBBS experience in any Government or Private Hospital with at least 100 beds
• Mandatory: MBBS with valid APMC Registration is required

System Administrator (1 post)

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or IT, or MCA, or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science/IT
• Experience: Post-qualification experience in Government or Private sector providing IT services for not less than 3 years

Data Analyst (11 posts)

• Postgraduate Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, or Bio-Statistics from a UGC recognised institution or university
• Experience: Post-qualification experience in Government or Private sector providing IT services for not less than 3 years

Programme Assistant (7 posts)

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or IT, or MCA, or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science/IT
• Experience: Post-qualification experience in Government or Private sector as Office Assistant for not less than 3 years

Age Limit

• You should be at least 18 years and not more than 42 years as on 01 July 2025
• SC/ST/BC/EWS: Upper age limit relaxed to 47 years
• Physically Handicapped (PH): Upper age limit relaxed to 52 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years plus actual length of service in armed forces
• NCC Instructor: 3 years plus actual length of NCC service

Salary

• Nodal Officer: Rs. 70,000 per month (consolidated pay)
• System Administrator: Rs. 50,000 per month (consolidated pay)
• Data Analyst: Rs. 50,000 per month (consolidated pay)
• Programme Assistant: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated pay)
• All posts are on contract basis. No allowances mentioned separately in the notification.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely merit-based using a 100-point system. There is no written exam or interview.

1. Academic Marks (up to 75 points): Percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. CGPA/Grade Points are converted to percentage as per Govt. Circular Memo No. 01/HM&FW/2022. Foreign degree holders get marks based on A/B/C grade formula.
2. Service Per Completed Year (up to 10 points): 1 point for each completed year of service after qualifying exam.
3. Contract Service Weightage (up to 15 points): For AP government contract service only — 5.0 marks per 6 months for COVID-19 duties; 2.5 marks per 6 months in Tribal area; 2.0 marks per 6 months in Rural area; 1.0 mark per 6 months in Urban area. Service certificate from competent authority is mandatory to claim this weightage.
4. Tiebreaker: If two candidates score equally, the person with higher age gets better rank.
