Who Can Apply?

For Staff Nurse

• Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent AND pass in the Nursing Council examination with a three-year General Nursing and Midwifery course; OR B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution registered with the State Nursing Council.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital recognised by the Central or State Nursing Council, or in an educational institute of repute.
• Desirable: Good communication skills in English and Hindi; basic MS Word and MS PowerPoint proficiency; experience in documentation and record keeping in a clinical setting.

For Visiting Psychological Counsellor

• Qualification (Option A): MA or M.Sc. in Psychology with specialisation in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Social Psychology, or Applied Psychology from a recognised university in regular mode (not distance learning), with minimum 55% marks or CGPA of 6.0.
• Qualification (Option B): M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology with minimum 55% marks or CGPA of 6.0 from a recognised university.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a reputed Higher Academic Institution.
• Desirable: Experience in IIMs, IITs, or NITs preferred; ability to conduct psychotherapy and group sessions; crisis intervention skills; proficiency in mental health awareness programmes.

Age Limit

• Staff Nurse: Maximum 30 years as on the date of the Walk-in Interview (10 May 2026).
• Visiting Psychological Counsellor: Maximum 50 years as on the date of the Walk-in Interview (17 May 2026).
• Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India rules for SC / ST / OBC / PwD / Ex-Servicemen / EWS candidates.

Salary

• Staff Nurse: Rs. 20,000 per month (consolidated pay).
• Visiting Psychological Counsellor: Rs. 3,000 per visit of two hours (four visits per week). The actual rate is based on qualifications and experience as decided by the Interview Panel. TDS deducted as applicable.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a direct Walk-in Interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Report at IIM Raipur campus on the scheduled date with all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies.
2. Document Verification: Original certificates are checked on the spot. Candidates without original documents will not be permitted to appear.

Note: Government / PSU / Autonomous Body employees in a permanent capacity must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer.

• Provide first-level medical care and nursing assistance to students, faculty, and staff at the Institute Medical Centre
• Administer medications, injections, and dressings as prescribed by the Medical Officer
• Assist the visiting Medical Officer during consultations, examinations, and procedures
• Maintain the Medical Centre in clean, hygienic condition and manage medicine and equipment inventory
• Keep accurate patient records, prescription registers, and treatment logs
• Respond to medical emergencies on campus and provide immediate first aid
• Monitor health conditions of students under observation, including hostel residents
• Assist in organising health camps, blood donation drives, and vaccination programmes
