ANGRAU issued Circular Memo No. 101/TA/CFST/PVDL/2026 dated 10 July 2026 for a full-time, contractual Teaching Associate post in the Department of Food Process Engineering at the College of Food Technology, Pulivendula. Who Can Apply?
ANGRAU accepts candidates through three possible qualification routes for this post — a Ph.D. route, a Master's degree route, and a linked Bachelor's degree requirement. Along with your degree, you also need relevant teaching/research experience and at least one research publication, as explained below.
Ph.D. Route:
- Qualification: You can apply if you have a Ph.D. in a relevant subject (food/agricultural engineering discipline).
- Salary Benefit: Ph.D. holders get a higher consolidated pay of Rs. 67,000 per month.
Master's Degree Route:
- Qualification: You need a Master's degree in Food Engineering / Food Process Engineering / Dairy & Food Engineering / Agricultural Process & Food Engineering / Post Harvest Engineering / Food Process Engineering & Management with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade.
- Bachelor's Degree: You should also have a 4 or 5-year Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or Agricultural Engineering with first division or an equivalent overall grade point average.
Experience and Publication (both routes):
- Experience: At least 3 years of teaching or research experience, which can be shown through a fellowship, associateship, training, or other similar engagement.
- Publication: One published research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal, or in a NAAS-rated journal with a rating of 4.0 or above.
Age Limit
- Men: Upper age limit is 40 years.
- Women: Upper age limit is 45 years.

Salary
- Master's degree holders: Rs. 61,000 per month plus applicable HRA.

Terms and Conditions:
- The engagement is purely temporary and contractual, and will end after 11 months or when a regular staff member joins, whichever is earlier.
- You will not have any right to claim a regular appointment at ANGRAU or any other government organization on the basis of this engagement.
- You will not have any right to claim further continuation of the contractual engagement beyond this period.
- Concealing facts or canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification, even after selection or during the contractual period.
- The engagement can be terminated at any time without prior notice or a stated reason.
