Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) has released a walk-in interview notice (Cir. Memo No. A2/1017/2026, dated 30 July 2026) for one Teaching Associate post in the Department of Food Process Engineering at Dr NTR College of Food Science & Technology, Bapatla. The engagement is purely temporary and contractual. If a suitably qualified Teaching Associate candidate is not available, the university will consider candidates for the Teaching Assistant post instead — so both qualification levels are welcome to attend.

Who Can Apply?

For Teaching Associate (Full-Time, Temporary Contract):

• Qualification: You need a Ph.D. in the relevant subject, OR a Master's degree in Food Process Engineering / Food Engineering / Dairy and Food Engineering / Dairy Engineering / Agricultural Process and Food Engineering / Post Harvest Engineering / Food Engineering and Management with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade, OR a B.Tech (Food Technology) / B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) degree of 4 or 5 years with First Division or an equivalent overall grade point average.
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience.

For Teaching Assistant (considered only if no Teaching Associate candidate is available):

• Qualification: The same Master's degree or B.Tech qualification as above (there is no Ph.D. route for this post).
• Experience: At least 2 years of teaching or research experience.

If a suitable Teaching Associate candidate is not available on the interview day, the university will select from Teaching Assistant applicants instead.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection is done through a walk-in interview, not a written test:

1. Certificate Verification: Held at 9:00 AM on the interview day — bring all your original certificates and mark sheets.
2. Interview and Blackboard Presentation: You will need to present a topic of your choice for 2-3 minutes on the blackboard as part of the interview.
3. Medical Examination: If selected, you must clear a medical fitness test at your own expense before appointment.

The selection committee's decision is final and binding. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, and the Associate Dean can cancel or postpone the interview for unavoidable reasons. Concealing facts or canvassing in any form will disqualify your candidature, even after selection. The contractual engagement can be terminated at any time without prior notice, and you can leave the job by giving one month's notice (or paying one month's salary instead).
