About This Job

AIIMS Project Technical Support-II Recruitment 2026: Overview

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi is hiring a Project Technical Support-II for its Department of Transplant Immunology and Immunogenetics. The post is funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under research project I-1918, and it is a temporary project post with a two-year term.

The project studies biomarker-based precision medicine for monitoring kidney transplants, using the analysis of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) and exosomes. In simple terms, the team looks for signals in a patient's blood that show how a transplanted kidney is doing. The notice prefers candidates with hands-on blood collection and blood-drawing experience, so expect sample work with transplant patients in a hospital lab setting.

This is a good fit if you are a trained medical laboratory technician — whether you came through the Class 12 Science route with long lab experience, a DMLT diploma, or a three-year B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Project-linked: The post is temporary and runs for two years under the ICMR project; it is not a regular AIIMS appointment.
  • Shortlisting: Only candidates who clear the initial screening of CVs are called for an interview.
  • Desirable skill: Practical experience in blood collection and phlebotomy is preferred but not compulsory.

Application Submission Notes

You can apply in either of two ways. Email your updated CV to transplantimmunology63@gmail.com, or hand it in at the Department of Transplant Immunology and Immunogenetics, AIIMS, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi-110029 (the notice is signed by Dr. Lata Kumari, Scientist). CVs must reach the department by 5 PM on the closing day.
