All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur (AIIMS Jodhpur), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. Admn/Rect./Contract/2026/02 dated 11 April 2026. The drive covers 9 technical and allied health posts including Physiotherapist, OT Technician, Medical Physicist, Cath Lab Technician, and more. Who Can Apply?

Medical Physicist (Group A)

• M.Sc. in Medical Physics or equivalent from a recognised university OR M.Sc. in Physics from a recognised university with a Post-Graduate diploma/degree in Radiological/Medical Physics OR M.Sc. in Medical Technology with Radiotherapy as a special subject and/or Diploma in Radiation Protection
• Experience: 2 years of working experience in Radiotherapy Department of a hospital

Technician (OT) (Group B)

• B.Sc. in OT Techniques or equivalent with 5 years' experience in the concerned field OR 10+2 with Science with Diploma in OT Techniques or equivalent with 8 years' experience

Radiotherapy Technician Grade II (Group B)

• B.Sc. (Hons) — 3 year course — in Radiotherapy/Radiology from a recognised university OR Diploma in Radiotherapy/Radiology from a recognised institution with 2 years' experience
• Desired: Ability to use computers — hands-on experience in office applications, spreadsheets and presentations

Perfusionist (Group B)

• B.Sc. Degree from a recognised university + Certificate in Perfusion Technology awarded by a recognised Institution/Association/Authority (such as Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of India) after training in a centre with at least 1 year of experience in Clinical Perfusion
• Desirable: Working experience in Clinical Perfusion

Technician (Lab) (Group B)

• B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology or equivalent with 5 years' experience OR Diploma in Medical Lab Technology or equivalent with 8 years' experience in the concerned field

Panchakarma Technician (Group C)

• Diploma or Certificate course in Panchakarma of minimum 1 year from a recognised institution + 5 years' experience in a recognised Ayurvedic Hospital/Institution

Technician (Dialysis) (Group B)

• Degree in Dialysis Technology from a recognised institute or equivalent OR Diploma in Dialysis Technology (2-year course) from a recognised institute with 2 years' experience in Hemodialysis in a hospital or Medical Institute

Cath Lab Technician (Group C)

• Higher Secondary (10+2) in Science and certificate course OR Diploma in Cardiology Lab Investigations consisting of ECG, Holter and TMT
• Candidates trained in Echocardiography are preferred

Physiotherapist (Group B)

• 10+2 in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) AND Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised institute/university
• 2 years' experience + Registration with the Physiotherapy Council is mandatory

Age Limit

• Medical Physicist: 21 to 35 years
• Technician (OT): 25 to 35 years
• Radiotherapy Technician Grade II: 21 to 35 years
• Perfusionist: Not exceeding 30 years
• Technician (Lab): 25 to 35 years
• Panchakarma Technician: Not exceeding 30 years
• Technician (Dialysis): Not exceeding 35 years
• Cath Lab Technician: Not exceeding 36 years
• Physiotherapist: 21 to 30 years
• Age is counted as on the last date of receipt of applications (01 May 2026)
• Note: No age relaxation is available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• PwBD + OBC: 13 years
• PwBD + SC/ST: 15 years
• Central/State Govt. Civilian Employees (UR): 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen (Group A & B posts): 5 years
• Existing AIIMS Jodhpur Contractual/Outsourced Employees: Relaxation for the period they have served, up to a maximum of 5 years

Salary

• Group A (Medical Physicist): Rs. 88,638 per month (consolidated)
• Group B Posts (Technician OT, Radiotherapy Technician, Perfusionist, Lab Technician, Dialysis Technician, Physiotherapist): Rs. 55,932 per month (consolidated)
• Group C Posts (Panchakarma Technician, Cath Lab Technician): Rs. 40,290 per month (consolidated)
• These are consolidated emoluments — no separate DA, HRA or other allowances
• Contract tenure is fixed at 11 months and does not lead to permanent absorption

Selection Process

Selection depends on which group the post falls under:

1. Screening Test (if required): If applications received are more than 4 times the number of advertised posts, a screening test will be conducted to shortlist candidates
2. Interview (Group A Posts): Medical Physicist — shortlisted candidates will appear for interview
3. Skill Test (Group B & C Posts): Technicians and Physiotherapist posts — candidates will appear for a skill test after the screening stage
4. Document Verification: Final eligibility check before appointment

• Follow all infection control, safety, and sterilisation protocols as per hospital standards
• Handle patient preparation, positioning, and post-procedure care as directed
• Report equipment faults, unusual findings, or patient concerns to the supervisor promptly
• Participate in departmental training, audits, and quality improvement activities
