AIIMS Patna Project Nurse II Recruitment 2026 — 1 Post

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna (AIIMS Patna) has released Advertisement No. AIIMS/Pat/Neurology/2026/71 for recruiting a Project Nurse II on a temporary basis under the ICMR-funded extramural project titled "BEAT ICH India" — Reducing the Burden of Cardiovascular Events with Antiplatelet Therapy in Patients with Intracerebral Haemorrhage. The project is led by Dr. Pratibha Prasad, Assistant Professor, Department of Neurology, AIIMS Patna. This is a one-year contract position that may be renewed if the project duration is extended.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Minimum Second Class (or Equivalent CGPA) in a three-year General Nursing / GNM diploma from a recognised board or institution.
• Experience: Experience from a relevant field/area as required by the project will be counted. Experience gained after the minimum essential qualification will be considered.
• Note: Female candidates will be given preference.
• Important: All educational qualifications and certificates must be from a recognised board/university in the relevant field.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 30 years for fresh recruits (as on the date of application).
• Age Relaxation:
  • Up to 5 years for Government servants and SC/ST candidates
  • Up to 3 years for OBC candidates

Salary

• Monthly stipend: Rs. 20,000 per month
• Plus HRA at 20% (as admissible) — approximately Rs. 4,000 extra per month
• Total take-home: approximately Rs. 24,000 per month
• Note: No TA/DA will be paid for joining or any official travel.

Selection Process

Selection is done in the following way:

1. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
2. Written Test (if needed): If more than 30 eligible candidates apply for this post, a written test will be held before the interview, as per institute SOP.
3. Date and schedule of the written test and interview will be announced on the AIIMS Patna website (www.aiimspatna.edu.in).

• Take medical and medication history from patients enrolled in the BEAT ICH India research project
• Complete source documents, paper CRFs (Case Report Forms) and electronic CRFs (eCRFs) accurately
• Handle Investigational Products (IP) and dispense kits to patients as per protocol
• Report events and collect supporting documents for Ethics Committee (EC) and EDC submissions
• Collect CT/MRI images as required for the study documentation
• Follow up with patients to record demographics, contact numbers, and schedule the next follow-up visit
• Assist the Principal Investigator and study team with day-to-day project activities
