Central Electronics Limited (CEL), a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, has invited applications for the post of Chief Medical Officer/Medical Officer on a contract basis. The selected candidate will head the company's Health Centre at its Sahibabad campus and provide medical services to CEL employees. The contract is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and company requirements.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Mandatory: M.B.B.S degree from a recognised University with a valid Medical Registration Certificate issued by State Medical Council (SMC) / Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Medical Commission (NMC) — registration must be valid for Uttar Pradesh
• Preferred: PG Degree or Diploma along with AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) from a recognised / approved institute

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the medical field
• Familiarity with industrial health hazards, mitigation techniques, hygiene and sanitation is required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is highly preferred

Other Requirements

• Candidates currently working in Govt / PSUs / Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel or submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC)

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 65 years as on 31 March 2026
• No minimum age is specified in the notification

Salary

• Total emoluments: Rs. 1,00,000 per month
• Working hours: 09:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs on all working days

Selection Process

Selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by an assessment process:

1. Application Screening: Applications will be reviewed based on qualifications, experience and suitability for the role
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview at CEL, Sahibabad
3. Document Verification: Original certificates and registration documents will be verified at the time of joining
