AIIMS Jodhpur Project Technical Support-III Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur is filling a Project Technical Support-III position under the ICMR-funded extramural research project "National Center for Assistive Health Technology". The project is run from the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) by Dr. Ravi Gaur, Additional Professor and Head of the department and Nodal Officer of CCAHT. The post is open to either an Occupational Therapist or a Psychologist, and the notice sets a separate qualification track for each, so check which one you fit. It is a temporary, project-linked job filled through a walk-in interview, so if you work in rehabilitation, disability care or assistive technology, you can simply turn up with your papers.

Posts and Disciplines

• Occupational Therapist track: for holders of a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) with hands-on work in assistive technology, rehabilitation or disability care. Experience in neuro-rehabilitation, assistive devices, ADL training or custom splinting, and in disability research or data collection, counts in your favour.
• Psychologist track: for candidates with a master's degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology and experience in psychological assessment or counselling. An RCI-registered M.Phil in Clinical Psychology and experience in disability psychology, neuro-cognitive assessment or caregiver counselling are desirable.

Post-wise Duties

Occupational Therapist

You will assess people with disabilities and prescribe assistive devices and aids that suit them. You will design therapy plans that build functional independence, train patients and caregivers to use the devices, and record data for the project's research. You will also work with the multidisciplinary team during assistive technology trials and evaluations.

Psychologist

You will screen and assess patients with standardised psychological tools and give counselling and psychosocial support to persons with disabilities and their families. You will design behaviour modification and cognitive intervention programmes linked to device use, help with data collection, scoring, analysis and report writing, and take part in team meetings on assistive technology evaluation.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project-linked: The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project; you get no claim to permanent employment at AIIMS Jodhpur or to a place in any other project.
• Consolidated pay: The pay is a consolidated sum without other benefits, and the final figure depends on your experience, qualifications and skill set.
• Experience counting: Only experience gained after your minimum qualification counts, and all degrees must be full-time from a recognised board or university.
• Government employees: If you work in a government office or public sector undertaking, bring a No Objection Certificate to the interview.
• Research-project service: Experienced candidates who have worked on other research projects may get an age concession for that service, decided case by case.
• No TA/DA: You travel to the interview at your own cost.
• Canvassing: Any form of canvassing leads to disqualification.
• Complete papers: An application without the essential qualification and experience certificates is treated as incomplete.

Application Submission Notes

There is no online form. Report in person to Room No. P-015, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, AIIMS Jodhpur on the walk-in day. Reporting opens at 1:00 PM and closes at 2:00 PM; no candidate is entertained after that. Hand over the application in the prescribed format attached to the notice along with your bio-data, and carry your original certificates plus one set of self-attested photocopies.
