AIIMS New Delhi has invited applications for 1 Research Associate-III position under the Technical Resource Centre project at the Centre for Evidence for Guidelines, Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Project Code: T-338). This role focuses on conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses that feed into national clinical guideline development. It is a strong fit for medical or dental postgraduates, or Life Sciences PhD holders, who already have research and academic writing experience and want to work on a government-funded evidence-generation project at India's premier medical institute.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MD / MS / MPH / MDS from an NMC/NDC recognised medical or dental college, OR MSc / PhD in Life Sciences.
• Experience: You need certified training in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analysis, plus at least 1 published systematic review as first or corresponding author in a MEDLINE-indexed journal.
• Desirable: Good manuscript writing and communication skills, certified training in systematic review protocol development, meta-analysis software, and the GRADE approach / GRADE Evidence to Decision (EtD) framework.

Age Limit

• You should be under 35 years old as on the last date of application.
• Age Relaxation: As per Government of India guidelines for reserved categories.

Salary

• You will get a fellowship of Rs. 67,000 consolidated plus Rs. 20,100 HRA, totalling around Rs. 87,100 per month.
• This is a temporary position: the initial appointment is for 3 months, extendable up to 1 year based on your performance and the availability of funds from DHR.

Selection Process

Selection is through shortlisting and a discussion round - there is no written exam:

1. Shortlisting: Applications are screened based on your qualification, published work, and research experience.
2. Personal Discussion / Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a discussion with the Project Investigators.
