Who Can Apply?

Project Scientist-II (Non-Medical) — 2 Posts

• Qualification: PhD in Biomedical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, OR First-Class M.Tech in Biomedical/Electronics/Mechanical with 3 years of research experience
• Experience: Must have handled research projects for 3 years with experience in AI, Instrumentation, Robotics, Biomedical Signal Processing, Image Processing, Electronics Hardware, Data Analysis, Embedded Systems, 3D Scanning, and Reverse Engineering
• Preferred skills: Patents and research publications in peer-reviewed journals

Project Scientist-I (Non-Medical) — 1 Post

• Qualification: PhD in AI/Electronics/Instrumentation/Biomedical/Mechanical Engineering, OR M.Tech with 2 years of experience
• Experience: Medical image segmentation, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Finite Element Analysis, Deep Learning, Machine Learning
• Preferred skills: Building AI models, Deep Learning, Neural Networks, CT-MRI analysis

Computer Programmer — 1 Post

• Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical/Biomedical/Electronics/Instrumentation, OR B.Sc (IT/Electronics) with 3 years of experience, OR M.Sc (IT/Electronics)
• Experience: Embedded Systems, Robotics, PCB Designing, Biomedical Instrumentation, Data Collection, ML/DL
• Preferred skills: Knowledge of biomedical signals (ECG, EMG, EEG, EOG, IMU)

Age Limit

• Project Scientist-II: Maximum 40 years
• Project Scientist-I: Maximum 35 years
• Computer Programmer: Maximum 30 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories.

Salary

• Project Scientist-II (Non-Medical): Rs. 67,000 per month + 30% HRA
• Project Scientist-I (Non-Medical): Rs. 56,000 per month + 30% HRA
• Computer Programmer: Rs. 32,000 per month (consolidated)

Note: These are contractual posts under the ICMR-funded project. No other allowances beyond HRA (where applicable) have been mentioned.
