Who Can Apply?

Group A Officers (Medical Superintendent, Registrar, Chief Librarian, Chief Nursing Officer and similar posts - Pay Level 10-14):

  • You should be a serving officer under the Central/State/UT Government, a Statutory/Autonomous Body, a Government University or an R&D Organisation, holding an analogous post on a regular basis, OR with the required years of regular service in the specified Grade Pay/Level for that post.
  • Post-specific qualifications apply — for example, the Medical Superintendent post needs an MBBS/MD/MS with 10 years' experience in hospital administration, while Chief Librarian needs a Master's degree in Science plus a Library Science qualification.

Group B Officers (Private Secretary, Pharmacists, Junior Administrative Officer and similar posts - Pay Level 6-7):

  • You should hold an analogous post on regular basis, OR have the prescribed years of regular service in the relevant Grade Pay, in a Central/State Government, Statutory/Autonomous Body or R&D Organisation.
  • Chief Medical Record Officer candidates must also show computer proficiency with a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.

Group C - Senior Administrative Assistant (UDC) - Pay Level 4:

  • You need a degree from a recognised university with computer proficiency, and at least 8 years' regular service in the Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900, OR hold an analogous post on regular basis.

Age Limit

  • The maximum age limit for all posts will be regulated as per DoPT OM No. AB-14017/11/2017-Estt (RR) dated 5 February 2018, the standard central government deputation norm.
  • Other eligibility criteria follow the relevant Recruitment Rules and DoPT instructions applicable to your post.

Salary

  • Pay ranges from Level 4 (approx. Rs. 25,500 per month) for Senior Administrative Assistant up to Level 14 (Rs. 1,44,200 - Rs. 2,18,200 per month) plus NPA for Medical Superintendent, as per the 7th CPC pay matrix.
  • You will also get usual allowances (DA, HRA and other benefits) admissible to Central Government employees of similar status posted at Bhubaneswar.
  • If residential accommodation is not available at the Institute, you will get House Rent Allowance (HRA) as applicable.

Selection Process

AIIMS Bhubaneswar selects candidates in 2 stages:

  1. Screening & Document Verification: Your application, service record, APARs and cadre clearance are checked by the Recruitment Cell.
  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are interviewed, and the decision of the Competent Authority on interview, document verification and final selection is binding.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative or clinical support operations for your assigned department at AIIMS Bhubaneswar
  • Supervise subordinate staff and coordinate with doctors, nursing and para-medical teams
  • Maintain service records, patient records, library resources, stores or pharmacy stock as per your post
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and official documents for the Institute administration
  • Ensure compliance with government financial, procurement and service rules
  • Support planning and implementation of hospital policies and welfare schemes
  • Handle grievances, queries and coordination with the Medical Superintendent's office
