About This Job

Apply for 2 Project Technical Assistant posts at AIIMS Bhopal. Graduate with 3 years experience or PG eligible. Salary: Rs 35,000. Walk-in: 10 Nov 2026.

AIIMS Bhopal Project Technical Assistant Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal is holding a walk-in for Project Technical Assistant posts, which are called Project Technical Support-III under ICMR naming. The posts belong to a multicentric study funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The study measures the economic value of Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) work in Indian healthcare facilities.

The project is run from the Department of General Medicine under Principal Investigator Dr. Sagar Khadanga, Additional Professor. This is a contractual project job that lasts only as long as the funding, not a regular AIIMS post. Both posts are open to the unreserved (UR) category, and you will work at the AIIMS Bhopal campus in Saket Nagar.

The team prefers people who already understand the healthcare delivery system and have done field or research work in public health projects. Good working skill in MS Word and Excel and clear spoken and written communication also count in your favour. The qualifications follow the ICMR guidelines for non-institutional project staff, as amended on 18 October 2024.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Tenure: The job runs for about eight months and ends with the project in May 2027 or earlier. An extension is possible only if the funding agency extends the project.
  • No claim to a regular post: You get no right to a permanent job at AIIMS Bhopal or with DHR/MoHFW. The Principal Investigator can extend or end the engagement.
  • Notice period: Either side can end the contract with 30 days' notice or pay in place of notice.
  • Consolidated pay: The monthly pay already includes HRA, and no other allowances are paid.
  • Leave: You earn 1.5 days of paid leave for each completed month of work.
  • Experience rules: Experience counts only after you finish the minimum qualification, and experience from government organisations is preferred.
  • Already on a project? If you work on another government or funded research project, bring a No Objection Certificate from your employer.
  • No accommodation: The institute does not provide housing.
  • No TA/DA: You pay your own travel cost for the test and interview.
  • False details: Wrong information at any stage can lead to disqualification, termination or legal action, even after you clear the selection.
  • Jurisdiction: Any dispute falls under the courts in Bhopal.

Application Submission Notes
