Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need an MBBS with a postgraduate medical degree (MD/MS/DM/MCh or equivalent) recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), along with the teaching or research experience prescribed for your post and department.

• Nationality: Indian nationals and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, 1955 can apply.

Age Limit

• For Professor and Additional Professor posts, your age should not exceed 58 years as on the closing date (21 August 2026).
• For Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts, your age should not exceed 50 years as on the closing date.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, OBC candidates get 3 years, and eligible government servants get 5 years relaxation. PwBD and Ex-servicemen candidates get relaxation as per DoPT guidelines. No age relaxation is available for EWS candidates.
• No age relaxation is available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying against unreserved (UR) vacancies.

Salary

• Professor: Rs. 1,68,900 to Rs. 2,20,400 per month (Level-14-A, 7th CPC)
• Additional Professor: Rs. 1,48,200 to Rs. 2,11,400 per month (Level-13-A2+, 7th CPC)
• Associate Professor: Rs. 1,38,300 to Rs. 2,09,200 per month (Level-13-A1+, 7th CPC)
• Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,01,500 to Rs. 1,67,400 per month (Level-12, 7th CPC)
• You will also get Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), if applicable, plus other usual allowances as per Government of India rules.

Selection Process

The selection for AIIMS Bathinda faculty posts will be done in the following stages:

1. Screening of Applications: Your application and documents are checked against the eligibility criteria in Annexure-A.
2. Document Verification: You must produce all original certificates, including category certificates (OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD) in the prescribed DoPT format, where applicable.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview. The date of interview will be notified later.
