ACTREC, a Grant-In-Aid institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. ACTREC/Advt-163/2026 for a one-year TMC Fellowship in Onco Critical Care. This fellowship is built for doctors who want hands-on training in managing critically ill cancer patients, working alongside senior anaesthesiology and critical care faculty at one of India's top cancer institutes. ACTREC runs specialized fellowship programs like this one to build a pipeline of trained onco-critical care specialists for India's growing cancer care needs. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MD or DNB in Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Chest Medicine.
• Nationality: Only Indian Nationals can apply for this fellowship.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 40 years old as on the advertisement date (14 August 2026).
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities.

Salary

• MD/DNB qualified fellows get a consolidated pay of Rs. 1,33,623 per month (Gross Pay).
• DM/DrNB qualified fellows get a consolidated pay of Rs. 1,45,530 per month (Gross Pay).
• You need to pay a security/caution deposit of Rs. 1,33,623 at the time of joining, or it gets deducted from your salary in five equal installments. This amount is refunded without interest after you complete the one-year fellowship, but it is forfeited if you leave before completing the term.
• Hostel accommodation is available on campus, subject to availability.

Selection Process

ACTREC will select candidates through the following process:

1. Screening: ACTREC reserves the right to fix minimum eligibility standards and shortlist candidates for the interview based on the number of applicants and available vacancies.
2. Walk-In Interview: Shortlisted and walk-in candidates are interviewed at the venue on the scheduled date.
3. Document Verification: You must carry original and photocopies of your educational and work experience certificates, along with your Aadhaar Card, for verification at the venue.

The decision of the Director, Tata Memorial Centre, on selection matters is final.
