Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat Finance Advisor Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), Gujarat State has released a notification to fill 1 Advisor post in its Preventive Action Unit on a contract basis. The Advisor will help the Bureau handle cases of disproportionate assets, where the real value of property and hidden tax details need to be worked out. This is a great chance for finance and taxation experts to work with the state's top anti-corruption agency. Even retired government officers can apply for this role.

Who Can Apply?

You can apply if you meet any one of these conditions:

Option 1 - Chartered Accountant

• You must have a CA degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) with 5 years of experience.
• An LLB (Taxation) degree will be given preference.

Option 2 - Income Tax Department Experience

• You must be a graduate from a recognised university with experience in the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax Department).
• You need at least 7 years in Class-1 assessment/appeal work and a total of not less than 15 years including Class-2 service.

Computer Skills

• You should know how to type in English or Gujarati on a computer.

Age Limit

• There is no fixed minimum age.
• You will not be appointed after the age of 62 years.
• Retired government officers and employees are also allowed to apply, subject to the Gujarat Government rules dated 07-07-2016 and 04-11-2019.

Salary

• You will get a fixed salary of Rs. 60,000 per month during the contract period.
• No other allowances, dearness allowance, or pay commission benefits will be paid on top of this amount.
• Professional tax will be deducted from the fixed salary as per the rules.

Selection Process

Selection is based on an interview. There is no written exam.

1. Interview: You must appear before the selection committee at Ahmedabad on the date and time given to you.
2. Physical Fitness Certificate: Before joining, you must submit a certificate of physical fitness.

No travel allowance will be paid for attending the interview.
