Engineers India Limited (EIL), a Navratna PSU, has released Advertisement No. HRD/Rectt./Advt./2026-27/05 for experienced engineers in process, mechanical, environment, electrical, instrumentation, piping, metallurgy and civil disciplines. This is a fixed-term hiring drive for 2 years, extendable up to 3 years based on assignment need and performance. The selection is through screening and personal interview, not a written exam.

Who Can Apply?

Education

• Minimum marks: You need at least 60% or equivalent CGPI in the minimum engineering qualification.
• Chemical / Process: B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc (Engineering) in Chemical.
• Mechanical roles: B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc (Engineering) in Mechanical.
• Environment, Water & Safety: Engineering degree in Chemical, Civil, Environment or Industrial Pollution Abatement.
• Electrical: B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc (Engineering) in Electrical.
• Instrumentation: B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc (Engineering) in Instrumentation & Electronics or Instrumentation & Control.
• Metallurgy / Materials / Corrosion: B.E., B.Tech, B.Sc (Engineering) or Integrated Dual Degree in the relevant field.
• Civil: B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc (Engineering) in Civil.

Experience

• Associate Engineer Grade II: You need 5 years relevant post-qualification experience.
• Associate Engineer Grade III: You need 9 years relevant post-qualification experience.
• Preferred work areas: Refinery, petrochemical, gas processing, fertilizer, chemical, offshore plants, pipelines, LNG projects or related engineering facilities.

Age Limit

• Grade II: Maximum age is 37 years as on 31 May 2026.
• Grade III: Maximum age is 41 years as on 31 May 2026.
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation. OBC-NCL: 3 years relaxation.
• PwD: Relaxation is 10 years for General/EWS, 13 years for OBC-NCL and 15 years for SC/ST.
• Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation is available as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Associate Engineer Grade II: Rs. 80,000 in X category cities, Rs. 76,000 in Y category cities and Rs. 72,000 in Z category cities.
• Associate Engineer Grade III: Rs. 96,000 in X category cities, Rs. 91,200 in Y category cities and Rs. 86,400 in Z category cities.
• Included components: The consolidated monthly pay includes HRA and PF.
• Other benefits: Medical insurance premium reimbursement for self up to Rs. 2,00,000 per year, GPAI coverage, travel allowance for official duty, out-of-pocket expense reimbursement and 2 days paid leave for each completed month.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

EIL will use application screening and personal interview for this fixed-term hiring. The exact interview schedule and venue details will be sent to the registered email ID.

1. Online Application: Submit the form through the EIL online registration system before 30 June 2026.
2. Screening on Interview Day: Applications and certificates will be checked to confirm eligibility.
3. Personal Interview: Interviews are tentatively planned from 13 July 2026.
4. Document Verification: Original documents and a self-attested photocopy set must be produced at the interview venue.
5. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates can join only after being found medically fit.
