Rail India Technical and Economic Service Limited (RITES), a Miniratna Category-I PSU under the Ministry of Railways, is looking for experienced engineering professionals to work as Individual Consultants at their project site in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. This recruitment covers 8 positions across 8 different roles including Construction Manager, Quality Control Manager, HSE/Safety Manager, Senior Engineers, and Billing Engineer. There is no application fee for any category, and the selection is based entirely on document scrutiny and personal interview. Who Can Apply?

Construction Manager - HVAC (YP/06/26)

• Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 10 years in the field of HVAC, including experience in HVAC works of building construction projects

Manager - Quality Control (YP/07/26)

• Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering and Diploma or Certificate in Quality Control
• Experience: 10 years as a QA/QC Engineer in Civil Engineering, with experience in building construction projects

Manager - HSE/Safety (YP/08/26)

• Qualification: Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering and a Certification or Course in Safety
• Experience: 10 years in the field of Safety, with experience managing Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) in construction projects

Senior Engineer - Civil (YP/09/26)

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 8 years with Degree or 10 years with Diploma in Civil Engineering, with experience in civil works of building construction projects

Senior Engineer - Electrical (YP/10/26)

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 8 years with Degree or 10 years with Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Senior Engineer - Mechanical (YP/11/26)

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 8 years with Degree or 10 years with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in firefighting, lifts works and electro-mechanical works

Senior Engineer - HVAC (YP/12/26)

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 8 years with Degree or 10 years with Diploma in the field of HVAC

Billing Engineer (YP/13/26)

• Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Experience: 5 years in billing works related to building construction projects

Experience in campus development or construction of Educational Institutions of National Importance (IITs, IIMs, IIITs, AIIMS, IISERs, NITs, Central Universities) is preferred for all posts. Experience in projects with a cumulative capital value of Rs. 200 crore or above in educational institutions is also preferred.

Note: Training, internship, teaching, academic, fellowship, or PhD research experience will not be counted as work experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 60 years (as on 24 March 2026)
• No extension beyond 65 years of age

Salary

• Construction Manager, Manager (QC), Manager (HSE), and all Senior Engineers: Rs. 75,000 per month
• Billing Engineer: Rs. 50,000 per month
• Payment is made within one week after the completion of each month based on attendance
• No statutory benefits like PF, ESI, or Gratuity are provided. Consultants are entitled to payment for services only.
• Leave entitlement: 1.5 days per completed month on pro-rata basis
• Remuneration may be reviewed annually after one year of engagement based on escalation received in client fees

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Document Scrutiny / Verification: All candidates who submit their online application will be provisionally called for document scrutiny. Your educational qualification, experience certificates, and other documents will be verified against the post you applied for.
2. Personal Interview: Only candidates who clear the document scrutiny will be allowed to appear for interview. You will be evaluated on technical skills, subject knowledge, experience, communication, and interpersonal skills. The interview may be conducted in person at RITES Corporate Office, Gurugram, or through video conferencing online.

Important: Your CV will be shared with the client after selection. The final engagement letter will be issued only after the client approves your CV. Actual deployment depends on project requirements.
