NEIGRIHMS, Shillong has released an advertisement for the post of Data Entry Operator in the Department of Microbiology, under the Central Sector Scheme "Setting up of Nation-Wide Network of Laboratories for Managing Epidemics and National Calamities" (State Level VRDL), funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), Government of India. This laboratory network is set up to track and manage outbreaks and public health emergencies across the region, and the Data Entry Operator will support this mission by handling laboratory and surveillance data. This is a walk-in recruitment — there is no online application process, and you do not need to submit any documents in advance. Candidates with prior experience in an ICMR project will be given preference over other applicants.

Age Limit

Salary

• Selected candidates will get Rs. 20,000 per month as consolidated remuneration.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the walk-in interview.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Skill Test: Conducted on the day of the walk-in interview. Only candidates who qualify the skill test will be allowed to attend the interview on the same day.
2. Walk-In Interview: Along with verification of your original documents.

The decision of the selection committee on your appointment is final, and no representation on it will be entertained. The committee also reserves the right to change the selection procedure or cancel the recruitment at any stage.

How to Apply

1. Attend the walk-in interview at the Seminar Room, Department of Microbiology, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong on 17 July 2026 at 9:30 AM.
2. Carry one attested photocopy of all your educational qualification and experience certificates, along with your Biodata.
