The High Court of Meghalaya (Meghalaya HC) is recruiting a Legal Assistant for its High Court Legal Services Committee in Shillong. - Help applicants seeking legal aid and legal services

- Collect appeal papers and arrange English translations of trial-court records
- Digitize case papers and send them to the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee when needed
- Follow appeal drafting, paper-book preparation and filing progress with the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee
- Coordinate with panel lawyers, District Legal Services Authorities, jail authorities and beneficiaries
- Track compliance with Supreme Court directions
- Process Lok Adalat matters, administrative support, procurement and online legal-aid counsel fee accounts
